- Today we are back with a requested reaction. This is a video by @CogitoEdu. and Its about the Tamil People. I've never heard of these people but it was truly amazing to learn about them. Thank you to anyone who suggested this reaction.

The first movie u r thinking about us probably Enthiran (2010), which is the prequel to the Enthiran 2.0 (shown on the video).
The second film u r thinking about is Eega (2012), thats not a Tamil film but a Telugu language film from Tamil Nadu's norther neighbours Telengana.
Eega does sound familiar. I might need to see if I can find that movie again. It was so wild lol.

U also need a special type of rice which is aromatic, starchy and smaller in size, or else it wont taste good. I dont think those r common in an average American grocery store, but i think u might find them at an indian or asian store.
Where i come from we add jaggery for the sweet taste.
@spilltea4241 I'll have to visit the Asian market. But I think there is one close to me so maybe that can be something I do for a live stream or something. Thank you for warning me not to use normal rice 👍🏾.

Indians mostly use aromatic long grained rice, which we use to make Biriyani, Pulao and medium grained rice for normal white rice. Its less sticky and more separated when cooked
East Asia uses Japonica rice which is sticky when cooked.

A washed hand is way more hygienic for cooking than gloves because gloves r touching all king of raw food products during the cooking process and its a hassle to change the gloves in every step of the cooking.
Most 5star restaurants even in west encourage using bare hands while cooking.

India has 22 officially recognized languages in the 8th schedule of the constitution, Tamil being one of them. Even on the back of Indian bank notes, u will find the value written in 22 languages.
The State government of Tamil Nadu uses Tamil as the official language, while the federal government of India uses Hindi and English in its official capacity.
Also its a very extremist take that Tamil is unrelated to sanskrit coz due to thousands of years of intermixing, specially during the Sangam age Tamil and Sanskrit today has a lot of similarities in grammer and structure. Also Tamil has thousands of sanskrit loan words or sanskrit derived words that people use daily.
Today 90million people speak Tamil in India and is the 5th most spoken language. The most spoken language in South India is actually Telugu.
That's incredible 👏🏾. Shout-out to the Tamil people. I can't believe people don't talk about the Tamil people especially with their history and culture. They should be way more known to people outside of India.

Also Sanskrit does not have any written script until 1st century BCE onwards

What about lord Krishna, Shiva and Brahma... Pl told abt them... My lord... Hindus has 3 millions of God... But all that Gods only deal with Brahmanas... Who is the Brahmanas... I'm sadly said they were out of Indian subcontinent... This is orchealogical, linguistic and scientific truth... Tamil people strongly oppose Brahmins and their epic stories always...

Burning not just that history, but the Srilankan "POLICE" burning the history of the oldest living ancient civilisation? Cmon now... by the way they still have militarization of the Tamil areas even today - out of fear of rebellion, Buddhist statues are secretly installed in Tamil Hindu Temples (Buddhism and Hinduism are complementary, the issue is the secrecy as an ongoing attempt at sneeky cultural genocide), random Tamil people are kidnapped and tortured under the "prevention of terrorism act" (it gives police an easy on-the-spot reason to arrest and jail left right and center with zero reasoning) the most recent example was 1 to 2 weeks ago. Please help the Srilankan/Eelam people, Tamils, Singhalese, and other ethnic groups live in peace by speaking up about it, send Western journalists over there please and reveal what's actually going on, the issues are not fully fixed yet.
