- On September 23, four more games will be added to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ - Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Entertainment System™ - Nintendo Switch Online collections.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest - Kaptain K. Rool and his Kremlings have kidnapped Donkey Kong. Enter Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong, who are ready to brave the seas to save our hairy hero. Diddy Kong's Cartwheel can sprint him across a distance, while Dixie Kong's Helicopter Spin will let her float from high places. Play solo or with a friend in eight exciting worlds. Mario’s Super Picross - Use numbers as clues and chisel away squares to bring a hidden image to the surface, with Mario cheering you on as you progress through the game’s puzzles. You can get a friend in on the excavation too. Two chisels are better than one! This puzzle game launched on the Super Famicom™ system in 1995 and has never been released in the U.S. until now.
The Peace Keepers - The DM Corp is responsible for a new string of troubling incidents. It's up to Flynn and his crew to rise up and stop them. Progress through each stage by executing on the deep action gameplay and unleashing each character's unique super attacks. The story changes based on the route you take!

If you haven't you should also play DKC Tropical Freeze it's amazing. Easily the best 2D Platformer on Switch and Wii U.

I'm always baffled about how so many people don't understand that a lot of these highly coveted 16-bit era games require Nintendo to get permission from their respective IP owners. so it's totally irrational to hope for these games to appear on Switch Online service. I mean, why would SquareEnix license Chrono Trigger Nintendo for release on Switch Online SNES barebone when they can generate more profit and prestige by bundling Chrono Trigger, Radical Dreamer, and Chrono Cross together and sell them as a bundle for $39.99 across the four major platforms?
Meanwhile in Japan, they got Diddy Kong's Quest and Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem.

@@halzion no, you can make a japanese account, download the JP specific version of the Nintendo Online Famicom thing, and then open it with the account you have online with
it only checks if you have online when you open the app itself, not when you download it

Kirby's Avalanche is unlikely, we already have Super Puyo Puyo 2.
They'd probably have to get Square Enix back before we can get Super Mario RPG.

@@nemisisarcher8213 They would need it. They both own parts of the game. Squeenix owns Mallow, Geno, and most of the original characters, plus there's two Final Fantasy music tracks. Fighting Culex, and it does the FF victory fanfare after defeating Culex.

Donkey Kong Country 2 is simply the greatest Super Nintendo game ever made. I have never had the greater pleasure to have such a memorable experience.
Everything about this game is perfect gameplay, characters, and especially the music.

YESSSSS DKC2. FINALLY. My favorite! Truly great addition here, one of the best games on SNES and THE best soundtrack, at least outside of JRPGs. Well, even including most of those.
And I'm not even gonna pretend I've not become addicted to Picross playing the Picross S games for switch bit by bit since i first got one, so seeing these Japan-only SNES puzzles for the first time .. :eyes:
Peace Keepers and SCAT really give off the visual and audio flavor of their respective systems strongly too, and especially the latter looks like something I could really sink my teeth into -- by this point I've played most decent NES games I know about, but this one's new to me and looks great!

These game drops keep getting better and better, it really sucked a few months ago but I think these can start being great, even if its one legendary game at a time
