mmh. Yes. I got a pre-order in, but in total pre-orders were up for maybe 35 hours, including getting a sudden second allotment.

Part of the reason Starfox 2 made it into the selection of games was because it was basically complete. Earthbound 64 (as far to my knowledge) was nowhere near completion at its cancellation so it would require Nintendo to finish making the game which is something they wouldn’t likely do.

I love how Nintendo modeled this spectacular commercial from the 90s advertising style they had back in that decade. Also got to love the Grunge Rock sounding music playing which was closely affiliated with the early and mid 1990s; the time period when the Super Famicom/SNES was released and dominated the 4th generation of gaming consoles.

I witnessed more people then that bought it in a store I worked at. So I'm pretty sure more people then that got one. Nintendo even kinda fooled the scalpers, by stocking this system more then the previous NES Classic.

i honestly love the n64 it had super mario 64, smash bros. ect. it would be a great idea to make it again.
Problem with doing that is that a lot of the good n64 games would not be included due to them being owned by rare who is owned by Microsoft. They can still make one with the games they own but a lot would be missing out. Also I think it is just near impossible to emulate n64 games as not a single emulator has gotten it right and even Nintendo has problem trying to emulating it on there virtual console. But who knows maybe they can do it

After so long time with Mario and Donkey Kong, I have no doubt that they are one of the best games with simple controls and the gravitational weight of the character that makes us want to dominate the game.

All stores did limit one per customer, but people use different emails, ordered one from every site etc. They have their ways. Only way to end this is for Ninty to make enough to flood the market making them widely available but that wont happen.

N64 doesn't have that much first party titles to support a release. It's best games are third party and I don't think Nintendo will care to seek the rights for releases.
