I love unraid. I subscribe to you for Framework content, but im happy to watch some unraid content.

This is some nice and different content. It's very applicable to many of us.

Gosh, it would be nice to see these things, like the page full of warnings or the unassigned disk that needs to be precleared, in the video, instead of having to imagine they're there.

What if a drive dies but you dont have a spare? An you rebuild and have that data spread out over the array?

It can be installed on an SSD or HDD or it only runs on a pendrive

It only boots from an USB flash drive. Once booted the OS runs completely in system RAM.

I was very frustrated with the disk swapping procedures in Unraid.
They legitimately suffer due to a missing wizard or similar guided process. As it is, they have a lot of hidden state under the hood, and if you make oh so small deviations from the steps you should do (which they only describe to you in very general terms in official documentation) all progress gets thrown away, which can easily have been a 1 day long procedure if you've got large enough drives. And you don't get any errors which can point you at what you did wrong.
This and the very much "not meant to manually interfere" nature of their container management make me kind of wonder how things would've been had I used TrueNAS Scale (if it had been available when I set up my NAS).

Also I've got my server starting on a schedule for backup tasks, which took a lot of work to get done, but due to energy usage this plus an always on raspberry was the best option.
Due to its admittedly janky nature this doesn't always work. But what I'd expect of them is the ability to check the system logs after something failed. But, behold, they're gone. They only keep logs in RAM.
The reason makes kind of sense, but still it's kind of broken. And there seems to be no possibility to save logs more permanently without stuff like network connectivity.
So I did bite the bullet and set up a syslog server on my raspberry, and after some initial troubles, I got it to work.
But then, when another failure happens, and I check the logs, there is either nothing of value there, or nothing at all, depending on its mood.
So yeah. I'm not really a fan.

You would have been locked to zfs and not be able to easy expand the storage pool with just one drive at a time for one difference
