great VR man. i've been making a few more extra repair like kits recently and one while watching this. It's been fun creating them, and using them as they have come in handy for me. that orange tool kit, i keep a slim version similar in items like that in my bag. I don't necessarily carry all what I show mate , but I'll stress the point that if it can't be sewn/ tied , or gaffer taped or glued it's screwed lol, I'd like you to understand that looking after yourself is more important than any kit , if you have no reason to carry a heavy kit bag don't! !! 20 / 30 years down the line , you could end up not being able to carry any weight at all 👍👍👍

Just a couple of suggestions for Thomas, but I think we know that a spares 'n' repairs kit is up on the list, , we've became a throw away society, too many one shot items for sale, mend and make do was the mantra when we where younger ,,,I keep trying to make my point that simplicity is the key , or prevention better than the cure . I think I'll join you and do a specific video on my repair kit , be interesting to see both your and my take on it 👍👍, cheers Andy
Definitely agree! I have various carry repair kits probably similar to your self! Lol.... I have a small “field craft “ repair kit, then a small mechanical/electrical repair kit and I have my just in case vehicle repair kit! Plus obviously my garage and two sheds full of 30+ years of tools and equipment kit ! Lol.... 😳🙄😁 so I don’t have to do a video that’s six years long 😂😂 I’ll just cover my version of the field repair kit items I have and have found useful! Nice container for the tape. I roll duct tape around a toothpick. It's just the width of the tape, works for me. No wasted space at all.
