As always an excellent vid 👍🏽
A tip if I may: for light paint transfer acetone on a microfiber cloth can work very well at removing it, but do not use it on lacquer finishes or freshly painted vehicles.

So funny story, you can actually use buffing compound on your headlights, and on your brake lights, if your lenses are foggy or weathered.
After you remove the yellow or rough surface, you can use a finer compound and then, clear-coat it afterwards.
Same rules apply there, don't go too hard, and don't remove too much.
On the clear coat choose something that is very UV resistant and non yellowing.
I'm going to do my headlights this Autumn as soon as heat comes down.
I did my taillights 2 years ago as a test and they are very very nice.

For a line scratch, I would first fillin the line/gap with the clear coat "scratch remover" pen, and after it dries, then polish it. Is that the better option? I think it removes less of the clear coat that way.

The 50 dollar chicago electric buffer is a nice touch. some pro grade tools there.
Edit: not dissing on Harbor Freight here, its exactly the sort of tool a homegamer who needs to do a job maybe once a year should buy, and you can even just use the thing once and return it, so that will save money that some people dont have to throw around. Just not something one would want to try and use 8 hours a day.

Just had this happen to me. The nerve to say I made a wide turn when I was coming to a stop at an intersection. Meanwhile, here he comes going "only 35" no more than 50ft from the intersection crossing into the left side heading south and swipes my bumper. Derrick Hodge, you have no integrity nor moral fiber to own up to your mistake. My only mistake was moving my vehicle to follow your vehicle in case you weren't going to stop
    There I vented

Yeah the last thing you want to do when you're trying to buff out a scratch, is to get a squirt in the mouth in the process ;)

You didn't fix the deep paint transfer, thats the main reason i tuned in. Thumb down. The explanation on white board was informative.
