WILL THIS BUFF OUT?

- SH*T HAPPENS. If accidents, damage, or scratches didn’t occur, auto body shops wouldn’t exist. With that being said, it can be quite costly heading to a shop to get repairs done. For that reason, I will be helping you should your vehicle have paint transfer, deep scratches, swirls marks, or all of the above.
My friend Rob made contact with a pylon on the driver’s side of this car. Some damage is present where it made contact, which is what I will addressing in this video. The impacted areas flow for about 5 feet of the rear quarter, which seemed like a perfect opportunity to fix these scratches, WITHOUT SPENDING TOO MUCH on detailing products.
The polisher that I used in this video is a 15mm dual action polisher from Maxshine, and it costs a mere fraction of a Rupes polisher. Rupes has been the industry leader in polishers for many years, and they have completely changed how paint is corrected. They have made polishers in many different sizes with varying throws, including 8mm, 15mm, and 21mm with 12-month warranties. Maxshine has similar polishers, however they aren’t outrageously priced. They come with a detailing bag, they come with a handle, they come with the washer mod, and they have LIFETIME WARRANTY.
You will be blown away by the final results. So sit back, take note of the before, and be amazed by this budget detailing setup!!

The best scratch removal video I have watched of many
i can barely express how precisely this video answered all my questions about "buffing it out." thanks for the quality content.
My pleasure! Cheers
Thanks for making this video, this video is definitely a confidence builder and a easy to follow instruction guide on how to remove scratches, and wax and polish my car without the fear of ruining my paint job. Much appreciated!
Australian here. What a great instructional video! Thanks. For some reason I've been able to escape doing this sort of thing to the vehicles I've had over the decades but now is crunch time and your methodical and fulsome explanations are great.
Wow... This is perhaps the best tutorial on fixing car paint scratches that I have ever came across. Awesome vid... Thanks man! :)
Thanks, you presented the best video by far on how to fix scratches. You seem to be a very smart guy !
This is the best scratch removal video on CZcams. Your explanation and commentary are fantastic. Thank you.
000000⁰
Yeah , your awesome and happy to watch you explain in detail:-)
Indeed….nice job. Great advice, well presented.
Recently picked up some scratches from 4 wheeling my daily pickup. So excited to try this out. Great video.
I've watch ALOT of paint repair vids in the last 2 days and this was one of the best, succinct and accessible info, well explained, good camera, test , and setup, and the results speak for themselves. I can confidently now say I'm ready to fuck up my car.
This what I’ve been telling myself😂😂
Anyone else know how to do this already but enjoys watching?! 🙋🏽♂️ great video!!
Still super satisfying to watch 😉
No sorry I fidnt know and still a little confused, 8m super new to this. I have a evo5 and need this doing to it.
That tool is only for light scratch...this guy don't know what he is talking about..
@@maxblazer593 um it's for what he showed you it's for you idiot
No :(
Should I start with 1000 grit as a beginner? Doing it by hand... dont trust the polisher. Or should I start with 800? Then move up to 3000?
Nice! This is the first time I've watched someone do any sort of paintwork repair through sanding and polishing. I feel now after watching this video, I can perform this process as well! Thx for posting!
Giing to do it on my own car now! This video gives confidence!
GREAT VIDEO. Easy to follow instructions and easy step ny step process. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO.
Glad to see you back on You Tube - Finally
Those Magic white sponges work great on interiors. Cleaning the steering wheel, center colums, dash, seats and doors etc. oh and tires too. You can get a box of them for a $1 at Dolllar Tree. Your videos are excellent, Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. I discovered these videos at the perfect time since I'm having to restore 3 of my vehicles and do some work on my mom's car too. I'm only 33 view in and have actually learned a few things already so, again, Thanks Milan!
Finally. Is make a long time from your last video. Amazing job and keep going.
Great video. Very informative. Thanks for taking the time to film and upload ✌
Really great video man, been looking this topic up for weeks, this was the best yet
Great guy, i like how he does his tutorials. Thumbs up !
Man, all I have to say is what a fantastic video! The way you explained everything as to why it is important and more beneficial to do **this instead of that** and how you showed us that you don't need a $400+ polisher to do the same thing a $170 polisher can do just as well. I was just looking for a reference video using those paint chip repair pens and I came across your video I felt like I was right there learning how to fix those scratches. You did an amazing job my friend keep up the great work!
Nice video and nice point made when you said the auto focus want on a spin trying to refocus👍👌
well done ! and very educational i will be buffing a twenty year old black car and this demo was very helpful thanks !
The after results look so nice
You rock dude! You are definitely in your element man! Another awesome Canadian! Thank you from Minnesota.
Wicked info man, Appreciate the hard work you put in to this.
Very helpful video, thankyou for showing us the 3 stages of progress.
Very informative! Really surprised to know the power of good buffing !
Watched this whole video and enjoyed it! There's a scratch on my Benz that drives me mad and now I feel confident suggesting this how-to video to my husband. 👍
Great video and detail. I just bought a 2013 car with light scratches all over and several paint chips that I'm going to try and touch up. Watching this video well help me out a lot.
How'd it go for you? I also have a 2013 car. Black paint. And loads of light scratches everywhere. Not deep. Definitely a candidate for a buff job lol
Hey Milan good to see your videos again really missed them
Thank you for your dedication to your craft and giving it to the CZcams community
My pleasure Frank! Thank you for the kind words.

Great video I like how simple you made this and also the tools pricing and everything else. Thank You 😊!
Happy to help! You're very welcome.
This video is awesome! You gave options and shown the difference between those options and explained everything in great detail what to do and why you can do it that way. Thank you!!!!
Glad you found it helpful!
I have very little experience with this stuff, great vid young man, thank you, very informative. Better than most.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@milanmastracci Will any of these methods work on scratches that are deep enough that your nail touches them?
I’m so glad I found your video. I brushed against the garage door and had a long white scrape. Your magic eraser took it right off. Thank you
Glad it helped! Cheers
Thanks mate for the help, best tutorial.
Great video, nice job of doing the comparison side by side. Thanks.
Thanks very much, really good to see the difference between what the different approaches achieve. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good to see you back great video. 👍
Hell yeah John!! :)
Very well put together video, thanks for your help!
"Got hit by that stupid pylon" damn those pylons that lay in wait and hit us.
Very informative, very personal presentation!
Amazing work milan 👌👌👌very helpfull
Amazing work. Great job
Awesome presentation! Very well done. I was going to take the car into an expert but now I'm considering doing it myself.
You can do it!
I just got a new used car. All the cars I have bought were used and this one is the most expensive of them and I plan to care for it more. Actually I just learned that the swirl marks don't belong to a car. I'm so happy to learn more from you and the other youtubers. So thank you for sharing knowledge.
my first car was used; from a dealership but 2 years later i finally got it corrected at least 80% of it using some great consumer products like Meguiars line of products their ultimate compound and polish are great, even liquid wax, washing daily is fun and people often ask me if it's new lol
@@jorgenvonstrangle000 oh I wait for the dry spring days to wash my car. At the moment the road is wet and muddy so it is pointless to wash before everything dries up. But thanks for the advice!
Thanks for a great video. 😁 Merry Christmas
this was a solid video, thanks man.
Nice work! Really enjoyed this video.
Great video mate, really appreciate it.
Very informative. Loved this👌
Fantastic video, love how it is split up into sections based on how much time and effort one would want to put in.
Glad you liked it!
And money...?
That's what one side of my car looks like after scuffing into a low brick wall..Besides that, I have badly faded paint where clear coat has removed on different areas of the car. I can't afford to have the work done professionally so I'm gonna have a go at diy. Your video is easy to understand and explained well. Feeling a bit nervous but hopefully I can achieve good results.
Dude thank God for this video! U got a subscriber. Great explanation, walk through, showed ur products, excellent. Im amazed at how well u explained everything. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Sergio! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video
Best DIY I’ve seen in a while
Excellent video! I think you just saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you!!!
Great video this will help many do it themselves and save hundreds of dollars. I'm always wet sanding others cars and of course my own.
Great job dude - thanks for taking your time to share - liked & subscribed 🤟
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
The magic eraser worked great for my door. A 🛒 had hit my black car door and it didn’t really scratch it .. it more or less left a rather large “scrub” or “scuff” mark and that magic eraser took it right off without causing more scrubs or scuffs. Followed it up with some wax and ya can’t even tell anything ever hit it.
nice demonstration in 3 offensive maneuvers, thanks for your energy ~
Lincoln Fong homie I thought those were booty cheeks
Thanks for the video! Was very helpful
Nice vid dude. Informative, just the right length and free from excessive ads.
Glad you liked it!
Great video dude. Love from UK
Easiest paint detailing video on CZcams, good work man
I appreciate that!
Thanks a lot for the video
the last method worked very well and was super easy
Thank you, you communicated everything really well. Now I just have to figure out what method to use. 🤔
Holy smokes!! I was going to take my "new" car to get the scratches out, and now I can just do it myself. Grantastic video!!
Glad it helped! I'm happy to hear that 👍
THIS HELPED SO MUCH
thank you, really
Imma do this tomorrow
I was leaving work and accidentally scratched my car against the rail where people store carts so I got red paint from the rail on my car door
Thank you for the nice video
I like the Capri Blow Gun, going to order one now
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT MAGIC ERASER TIP!! I hit a pylon with a near brand new 2019 Rogue yesterday, I thought it was scratches, but I think it's just the paint from the pylon.
Thanks really helpful and informative.
This is great information!! I have a 10 year old black truck - the paint needs some love. I think from what you have showed me, I should be able to significantly improve it. Thanks!! :)
Happy to hear that! Good luck 🙌
well done brother, and yes this is the best scratch removal video in youtube still, even the big dudes did not made a great video like this so far in 2022 , thank you very much
Great video, thank you for the info
Love this! Thank you for the guide :)
Thank you so much I buy and sell cars stuff like that puts me off buying them but knowing can pretty much get rid of them with stuff I have already is a amazing thank you 🙏
I'm happy to help Richard! Cheers :)

Great guy! Fantastic educational video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for your video it is the best by far one out there,
This was so helpful. Thanks!
So glad!
im so sick of stationary pilons always trying to crash into me..
Right XD lowkey an outstanding issue in America
Accidentally....
More driving, less texting!
Elite Kumite Australia happened to me just as I was driving away from a $60 valet 😂😂
@@Blizzard_Bliss This guy sounds Canadian though eh.
Man, you saved me lots of bucks! Thanks a lot!
Glad I could help!
Great job Milan 👍👍👍👍
really appreciate the video Milan. With the sandpaper paper method removing the clear coat - will the polish or wax replace that level of protection? or will that section be primarily 'exposed' without a clear coat moving forward?
Outstanding video! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers
Great video, thanks dude
Thanks and nice presentation. What speed(s) did you run the buffer for the applications and polishing?
One of the best hands down.
Hey Milan "Thanks" for showing the alternative to the Rupes, AND for showing exactly how a DA polisher works (i never knew) I thought i HAD to have either a Rupes or Meguiars to do my car once or twice a year - Good on you young fella - maybe theres even a cheaper alternative to polishes ?
i just bought a 10 year old minivan at a great price because, oh, maybe 60% of the total paint on the whole van looks like that part of that altima lol. i bought paint touchup sprays, brushes, pens, a buffer, different compounds. ive never done this before and this van is quite a big job but im so glad videos like this exist to help people do things like this. im sure i wont get it anywhere near perfect but im sure gonna try.
2 videos in one day? Awesome.
Amazing video. Very well explained,,👍🎯
Glad you liked it!
I had a few of those erasers around and it really did a good job. I also had some compound which helped too. My remaining scratches will require bondo and I ordered that and sand paper from amazon for 20. also got a 3 spray can kit to repaint it. I'll have $80 in it all said and done but I've made it look over 50% better just by cleaning it up.
