That part was actually written in the studio, so when doing the play-through I actually remembered to add the double kicks like 1 second before the part started, as I had practiced it with just the right hand and foot following the accent pattern. When I was done recording this play-through I was like: “did I play the ending right”….😅😅

To whomever is the video guy for Zildjian, do you guys make these videos? Or do the artists make them on their own and then you post them? I ask because theirs no unity in quality/color grading or format. I Love Zildjian! But Meinl is trashing the competition with their CZcams content. They manage to have cohesive content that always screams high end and with unity of design and shots. Plus they show off their cymbals in a way that is easily “searchable” for people researching or just “looking”. Like they have videos JUST showing their alloy custom line and hearing them in a long musical context with a drums only version as well. They really nailed the online sales part of their marketing. Again I LOVE Zildjian, but it’s sad to see that they’ve fallen behind digitally. Like what happened to “Zildjian Live!”?
To answer a little bit at least: For this video, I recorded it while recording the album with my team and sent it to Zildjian! :)
