Wow, some great finds! The one you valued between $100,000 to $200,000 was the best! It was sold basically as an after-thought, but was worth much more then that.

Dr. Lori was the ceramic piece a "Mexican Wedding Vase"? The reason I ask is because my Great Grandmother called a piece very similar a Mexican Wedding Vase and was adamant on her deathbed that all females in the family had to continue the tradition. The thing is grubby but we don't dare take the risk of pissing Nana off, she was quite the pistol. Also, Dr. Lori thank you for posting you wonderfully entertaining videos right now, CZcams has been taken over by doom and gloom because of the virus. Unfortunately, we all know what's going on but some humans are trying to capitalize off of other's misery. I admire you for not falling into that trap.
Hi, yes, Mexican and Pre-Columbian vases are similar in form. Your Great Grandmother is correct referencing this as a type of "wedding" vase.
I am happy to be able to post entertaining videos that provide educational information about art, antiques, and collectibles. I have devoted my career to helping others with information that could help them save a family heirloom or spot a historically significant or valuable object at a thrift store. While others are busy shopping and selling, I am trying to help. Not everyone loves my style but I appreciate those who know that I am doing this as a labor of love. And some people think my straightforward style is off putting, most of my followers know that I am here just to help out. When I started my appraisal tour years ago, it was prompted by my meeting an elderly woman who was taken advantage of by an unscrupulous appraiser who gave her $50 for an item that was worth $50,000. I thought that was awful and nobody cared about her. I wanted others not to fall into that same trap.
So, I am happy to help others as much as I can and to be able to offer free events nationwide and useful information via these videos. Please share my videos with your friends and keep your great grandmother's wishes alive.

Everytime I watch the reruns of Galeri 63, I love when Paul gets an expert to find out if the item is real or fake. Paul knows what he's doing, love it when he sends for you to appraise what ever it is. So I know that he does his homework, but sometimes people don't want to pay a lot or other times they pay more then what's worth so the buyer wins, just like there may not be enough people that like the item that there auctioneer is selling and it good go for less. But this we've seen it in this place, but not because Paul didn't do his homework, just people. God bless you always since I can't see you in person I enjoy myself seeing you on TV or my cellphone. Take care you and your family and followers always.

LOL when I saw you with this hat on Isis oh that's cute but that reminds me of Doctor Joel Wallach you are both Professionals in your Fields about yours is to do with Antiques and his is to do with nutrition he used to be a veterinarian like his father then he changed to a regular GP and now he's a natural path so he's got three of those qualifications under his belt.
Years ago when I was having some health problems I went on his product for about 4 months sure felt good but because I live in Canada out the Canadian exchange is pretty high and how I found out about dr. Wallach is when a friend in our church got on his product and told someone else and the Elder in the church couldn't even walk up the stairs to give his sermon he had to be assistant so being on dr. Joel wallach's formula after about four months or so this 80s odd old guy no longer needed his Cane nor did he need assistance

You know I try to look for oils and like you said an old painting isn't necessary a valuable one but I am thinking why did I recently get and beautiful oil painting and didn't bother looking on the back and it's got what we call a light colour brown board it's got oil on the front but on the back it's on this board not canvas and I'm thinking to myself that was a mistake..
It's medium coffee colour board hard to describe.
It's a little darker than cardboard but it's made from wood.. when I found it on Facebook I thought what a beautiful picture oil so my girlfriend went and picked it up for me I only paid about 40 bucks for it and no I didn't negotiate I know I know bad dog no biscuit the guy said it was over 48 years old.. I thought to myself okay however that didn't mean anything to me and then I asked him where is he got it and he got it from auction about 48 years ago the reason I got it is because I thought maybe it might be worth something but it was the beauty of the painting that attracted me I got discouraged because it's not an oil on canvas.
Cuz I'm thinking anything that's on a board it's probably not worth that much what is your feedback on this because I know I'm sounding ignorant LOL
She can even trace the school of the painter with just the nails. Wow
That's what 3 million years in school will do for ya! LOL
