If you had not let Chris Hipkins answer your question "what is a woman" we would not have been able to hear just how dumb he sounded, not be able to see it for ourselves. It reflects badly on you when your aggressive style becomes the focus rather than the content of the interview. Leaving some listeners with bias to the person you interrupted whether they are a cooker or not because of the perceived closed conversation.

Hey there, if you want a genuine answer to the question here you go. A lot of queer people are of course bullied immensely when they're children, enough so to bring some to ending their life. Therefore, it makes sense that those children, now grown adults, want to spread messages of kindness and acceptance to the children of the day as an intervention method against bullying and harm that children can cause to other children. The actual specifics of what the cancelled event entailed, was reading stories about acceptance, such as "giraffes can't dance" a nz children's story. I truly can't understand all the outrage in the comments, when we're talking about people dressing up colourful and bold, reading stories about kindness to kids. It seems like this comment section proves why this defamation case is so important, because the amount of misinformation on the specifics of the event is astounding.

i sent an email directly to the hastings MP who was helping promote the rainbow story time expressing my concerns and that controversial adult entertainment should not be doing shows for children who are very impressionable etc and referenced the extensive amount of negative comments on the facebook post made by the MP and she the MP replied that she didnt know what i was talking about and said its all about inclusion and celebrating diversity and that despite my claims there was "overwhelming support and positive comments" for the rainbow story time which was an out right lie

Firstly, I think it would of been better if Sean gave her the opportunity to speak a bit longer when he asked her whether Brian Tamaki had made any threats/ protest toward her drag events outside of the rainbow children story time in a fully adult setting - sometimes letting people speak can provide more opportunities to expose holes in their story - she fully withdrew after that and you could argue it gave her a way out.
In regards to rainbow story time - it's not the anti bullying message and people dressed in sparkly outfits - that's downplaying why people are concerned - it's the fact that men dressed as women and vice versa which is more of a sexual fetish are being put infront of young children and being paid to do so by the council.
It's the parents right not to attend the event but it's also people's right to protest the event within their community and also the fact that it's been funded by the council.

My opinion is that if people have Christian values/ideologies they can teach their children in the safety of their home about sex and the risks involved with these types of events. Parents choose to either take their children to these events or not.
