I have a 2016 isuzu npr unleaded gas. I wonder if everything is located in the same place as your diesel model truck. If so, I can do the oil changes on my own instead of waiting 2 hours at the truck mechanic shop.

Torque it to “about right” and call it good.

It's to keep it from seizing and getting stuck. But always do it! Guessing this guy isn't used to doing it. 10/10 would never not do it

If it comes off it comes off. It's trash anyhow. Most people don't have an oil filter tool as big as the Isuzu filters.

You can also put a ratchet strap around it then use a wrench or screwdriver to torque it loose.

Google says my Isuzu would take about 22 quarts. Could that be right?

I used about close to 15quarts. And check level of oil

Yes if its gas yes. Its most likely a 6.0 chevy motor gas.
