Keep grinding, first work on form. Next work on explosiveness. Key to sprinting is having fast feet and arms. Work on lifting in the gym and gaining strength within your whole body. Core is essential to sprinting. Work on coming out of blocks and how to do it properly. You have the potential to be as fast as you want as along as you put in the time and work for it now. You clearly wouldn’t be making these videos if you didn’t care about track or was striving to get better. So don’t give yourself excuses once the season ends it’s time for training season. In the summer find a workout program for sprinting (their are millions online). Watch videos on how to be a better sprinter and how to improve form (million of videos online). Ask your coaches for a workout schedule. Go to the gym and lift (stick mostly to a track and field lifting program. Now just put your head down and grind and work for it. I promise I am a senior in high school and time goes by faster. You might be in middle school right now but you’re going to blink your eyes and you’re going to be running your last highschool track meet. You can either put in the work and decide if that will be the last time you step on the track competitively or you can get to business and work and get a scholarship to go run. Opportunity is endless. Do what others won’t today so you can do what others can’t tomorrow. Keep your head up kid.
