100% most of the stores that you go into the stores try and take advantage and lowball you. You have clout and all of those stores and their owners know who you are.

Fun video and love the challenge, though admittedly like you mentioned... this is probably impossible for the average person without being in the right city and having the connections. It'd be cool if you had someone completely unknown try to do the same for you guys, just to see how far they'd get.
Lot of these type of consignment/sneaker shops are in the business of turning a profit and getting those values is crazy, even considering its trade or store credit. Right off the bat, the average guy would get offered like $80-90 store credit for the AF1s and you'd already would be down or you'd get a better deal actually returning the pair directly to the retailer.

I like ALL the trade videos but I think a mix of them would be great! I like how the month long ones get up in value and fun you all have! However I like the day ones b/c it brings in more of the day to day hustle of sneakers! Plus I feel the day one is more realistic to more viewers that live outside of a sneaker town such as ATL, NY, CHI, and/or LA. Regardless keep up the great work and love how you ended this one with it’s my size lol🤣

I was offered 110$ for a shoe these resellers were selling for 200$. I ended up selling to someone who gave them to their daughter for 135$. But the fact that they wouldnt even offer me anything close is tough, everyone wants to make money

They give you good trades because of the channel you have built plus it gives them publicity. If a nobody went into a store and did the same thing they wouldn’t be taken seriously

Yea I agree with the other people commenting that you should send a random person in for you. That way we can see how the average person who has no clout in the shoe game would do trading up. Because these stores have a beneficial relationship with you that means they’re more likely to give you great deals for the purposes of the video. They know at the very least they are gonna get a shout out in the video and people are gonna see some of their inventory. Would be cooler if you sent a random person.

I do this every weekend with shoes that are better than forces, its nice to see what Harrison Nevel gets, but its not like that for regular guys.
For example if you take forces to any reseller store in dallas atleast, youll get around 60-80$ if youre lucky
