Just adding in about the creasing, the best way to avoid super deep nasty creases is by getting a shoe tree or using the ones that come with ur shoe (the little paper one or the cardboard) as this stops the creases from setting but obviously doesn’t prevent them completely (but it’s just way more comfortable this way) . The other thing I do on top of this is get a plastic bag and fold it into a small square and insert that into the toe box. This acts as a little stuffer which doesn’t prevent creases entirely but definitely helps some and is actually comfortable to wear as opposed to the shoe shields.
yes! shoe trees are a great way to minimize creases and keep a nice shape of the shoe
If you truly want to pretty much completely stop creases the best way is crease guards you keep them in the shoe while you wear them, shoe trees you put in the shoe after wear. ( sorry i didnt know you were just adding to what he said )

This is so true, for 28 years I've been using newspaper that has been crumpled to fit in the toe box for all my shoes and now that I have AF1's, i'm doing the same.
During decades. Crease shields were the least selling item in foot locker. Even they were sale at clearance at $2 or 2x$1. Every year

One thing that I always look for is if people have that OG oval badge at the bottom of the laces, or the second Gen rectangle badge. Not sure if they updated that: I always had more respect for the OG badge, especially when they first started coming with the rectangles haha

You can also go a full size down and lace loose them so it won’t crease on the front

I used to rock air force 1s back in the early 2000s. The lows looked good with shorts. I never liked wearing them with pants. In my opinion i honestly dont wear any low top shoes with pants. I wear all lows with shorts. I wear mid tops with pants.

Air Forces 1s are classic/timeless! I’ve been wearing since 2000. When I see youngsters wearing cooked Air Force 1s, I don’t knock them, some people don’t care about having fresh 1s or even know the sneaker culture.

Wearing the wrong socks.
I figured out the problem after breaking through several pairs of Af1 on the inside of the heel. Each sneaker prefers its own pair of socks. Wearing terry socks is the quickest way to create a hole in the heel.

Get a smaller size keep them very loose when you walk your heel is slip out instead of the tip pending. It’s the way to go
I wear my AF1 with socks cuz I have the laces hanging so there pretty loose and the socks prevent creases and your foot won’t come out
The shields work really well mine air forces ive used them for about a year or a little bit over a year and the just started creasing

1:36 those things don't work, and I have a lot of experience with them. They are better than nothing, but I make much better ones myself, and as a result, my air force's toeboxes look like they're fresh out of the box despite wearing them countless times, no funny walk necessary. I simply get dollar store binders that are semi-flimsy, cut a stencil of my toebox, then make 4 layers. i then duct tape them together, and add holes for air flow. if they feel uncomfortable i just trim them as needed. i never get creases and i don't have to duck walk. i also leave cedar shoe trees in that have springs to expand to the dimensions of the shoe when not in use. keep in mind that this won't work 100% if you're running around in them, but if im doing that, im not wearing forces anyway. also, i don't like the ironing method. the toebox never comes out the correct shape, and it creases again quickly. the best method is to simply prevent creases in the first place

When I got my AF1's, I went with a pair with a black swoosh to make it different, because everyone else has all whites
as for creasing, I buy my shoes to wear. When they break Ill just replace them again
Since they are 1 in 30 pairs of shoes, that might take a while
pants on short people, if short and skinny the regular fits are wide already
try on regular fit pants to see if they are wide on you
I dont know how that is if someone is wider, but small and skinny, too wide simply looks too big, skinny fits like regulars should fit and regular is wide
I feel like everyone should have at least a little variety, dress for the occasion.

So Ima be weird and say I don't the Low white on white AF1s, just if I want to rock all white sneaks I got a pair of Stan smiths and Puma Clyde core foils. I do however own 5 pairs of af1s, 2 lows (White with gum sole, and off Noir), 1 mid (Light brown Flax), and 2 highs (All white, and black and white) honestly its a super versatile sneaker.

I've been collecting sneakers since 1995 and have owned pretty much every single pair I've ever wanted at one time or another. That being said, I have never owned, worn, tried on, or stuck my toe into a pair of AF1s.
Not that I'm against them, but I've passed on them for so long that now I can't break the tradition. So I'll just keep rockin' Dunks or AJ1s instead.
I've been wearing air force 1's since the early 2000's and never thought about creases. When I found out you're not supposed to crease them I just lace them really loose and don't tie them so they are like slippers! That way your heels just lift out of the back and you don't bend the toe box.
Who cares about creases. I crease mine straight away!
