Not possible, to get this kinda of performance required a esc and motor that together cost as much as half the price of the entire car

My LHS has a new v4 Tailion with blx electronics , would that be good for a speed truggy ? Or the Sledge and do what you doing ?
The Talion has been around Longer and has Parts Galore for it! Iâd buy the Talion. It is a Powerhouse and Will Fly with the right Gears!

Your shutdowns could be two things- either you're exceeding the 160amp limit of the max 6 OR you're getting major voltage sag with your battery packs and your Max 6 is shutting the system down.
I had a Max 6 and tbh whilst it was an ok ESC I found it offered no more power than the stock VXL 6s ESC.
I got myself a Castle XLX2 for my Erevo 2.0 and yup, it woke my Erevo up....The XLX2 wasworth every penny.
Put the stock ESC back in your sledge and do a comparison. I bet your nembers wont look much different over stock.
The shutdown was also because of the motor limitations of the esc.
