Diners get 30 minutes in which to finish a bowl of ramen five times bigger than their regular large ramen bowl...if successful, the 750kr meal is on the house, you get a winner's t-shirt and a gift card for the cost of the meal on top too!

This is literally a 15 minute walk from where i live! The thing about the challenges in Norway, the reason so few people attempt them, is that the prices are steep if you fail the challenge. Hope your stay was ok. 😁

While he had some challenges where the food prices seemed surprisingly low for the amount, this one also doesn't seem _that_ expensive considering it could probably serve 4, perhaps 5 people, so around $15 per serving. It is mostly noodles and liquid so these aren't the most expensive ingredients, but it still seems reasonable for a North European country.
The problem is you calculate the price based on the food amount. Most of the price is not due to the serving size, so giving you this huge doesn't cost them much more. It was mostly noodles so 70+ usd is expensive @@TLguitar
I couldn't get that scene from Harry Potter out of my mind when you were drinking the broth, where Dumbledore is forced to finish a bowl of something yucky to get at the hoarcrux beneath and Harry has to keep prodding him to continue 😂 I love a salty ramen broth, but downing a whole bathtub of it is going too far even for a salty Scandinavian sea dog like me!

Yeah, that's normal in Japan. And if it's okay there, it's okay at a Japanese restaurant.
If I recall, making slurping noises while drinking from the bowl is acceptable in Japan too

Its not common decency in Norway, but nobody will really care unless they are out for trouble and older people love to see people eat alot of food. Grandparents especially, you got to eat up your food or else they will force it down on you

I found your channel a couple weeks ago and I have binge watched so much of your content since then, if it was like a food challenge I’d have probably won a t-shirt by now. I hope you take this as a compliment but you remind me of Guy Fieri, not the style choices but the way you entertain and pump up the restaurant staff and literally everyone you come into contact with is genuinely amazing. And your show is just as entertaining as diners, drive-ins and dives if not more.

Hey Adam, just wanted to thank you for pushing out so much content consistently for so long. Used to watch your videos a long time ago, but stumbled upon them recently again. Ive been admitted to the hospital and lost most of my apetite.. couldn't eat and was getting progressively worse. Your videos gave me alot of strength and i started eating while watching your videos and im starting to get better.

These are some of my favorite food challenges. As cool as burgers, pizza, etc are I have those things in my area. A Good ramen spot is something not in my area.
