Not only those beans are fully cooked, they are actually fully dead with hardly anything useful left in them, since they underwent high heat pasteurization :))))
The beans are fully cooked. When you put them in the pot, you are just heating them up.
Heating the beans is preferred but not required but you should definitely heat those tortillas.

Some of the best content you have put out. First time I got the sense Taylor was really comfortable in front of the camera. Please don’t take that as a negative. It was good to see her more relaxed, able to laugh, and at home in front of the camera.

yep, those beans have already been pre-cooked, and then runs thru a heating system(I.E. steam bath) to kill all potential bacteria prior to labeling and boxing., love your videos guys, stoked to find your channel., but rolling with Kev on this s one... right outta the can!

On a side note, I read in the comments about the surfers and did a quick google search. So so glad that you all are home okay and safe and sound. This world is a sick twisted place.
Thanks John!!! Good question, we have some ideas brewing could possibly be a drastic change to be honest (in a good way) but it's still to early to tell and we don't want to spoil it. Yea it's so sad and scary, what a shame. Baja is such a beautiful place and there was still so much we wanted to explore and see, especially the remote areas, but not anymore.
Your Baja vlogs were enjoyable... two were actually very good... but then again we love Baja as you guys do! ☀🌵🌊😎

Not to be a debbie downer but I am glad you guys are home, in light of the tragedy with the 3 surfers in Baja. This vid was super intimate and enjoyable, I can't wait for next time! As for the beans, I only rinse and eat raw if they are going into a summer salsa. But if served any other way, I cook them in their liquid (good flavor) and serve them hot. I seriously need the recipe to that morning toast, Please. I think it's great that Taylor touched on giving dad some bottle time, super important. See you guys next week!
beautiful day there. baby laughing is adorable. yes the beans are ready to go right out of the can, although I rinse first. Dr. G says cook them to get rid of lectins if that's a concern.

Living in a van down by the river! I mean ocean. Wyatts ready to ride some waves. Coffee is so essential. Who got the whales droning? So cool. I captured whales in Iceland. It was so cool. Waves looked pretty good. What a great breakfast. Are avocados cheaper in Mexico? Taylor was killing it out there. last time I surfed was on Jones beach. It would be hard at this age now. lol. Heading back to NY soon for a couple weeks great episode guys. As I mentioned before I am team cook the beans. Cotton candy sunsets are the best. 🌅

The beans are already cooked. They can be eaten as is or warmed.

So sad…. But I believe these videos are new for us, but old for them, and they are home from Baja.
No that was in northern Baja near Ensenada, but so sad and so sketchy we were pretty remote this go around and that could have been us, so lucky we didn’t have any issues.
Can’t imagine what their families are going through, everyone’s worst nightmare.

Beans are cooked. If you ever cooked beans raw, they are hard as a rock and take HOURS to cook. I just love canned beans! Best thing since sliced ….. sliced… avocados??

The bean question lol, usually when I have black beans they are cooked into the food I'm having , but I put them in a chip dip called Mexican Caviar and then just rinsed so I'm guessing I do both lol.

Canned beans don't need to be cooked - it's more of a preference of how soft you want them.... Sorry Taylor! :)
You can heat the bean up, but no need to cook, they are fully cooked.

I ALWAYS “cook” the beans beforehand. Also go Taylor with all that breastmilk!!! Do you have room for frozen milk storage in the van?? Or does Wyatt just drink it after you pump?
Aww thank you so much!!! Wyatt had the flu when he was around 9 months and was always falling asleep during his night feed so we never knew how much he was getting, so we started giving him a nighttime bottle instead of nursing for that feeding. That being said I pumped every morning (after his first feeding) and every night after he goes to sleep to make the night time bottles. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough room in the freezer to store extra milk so we would use the extra for car rides if he ever seemed hungry or fussy which actually worked out great! 😍
Why do you use a diesel heater to heat your water instead of the Rixen system?
The Rixen's System uses an espar Diesel Furnace (not an air heater, a hydronic furnace heater) to heat up the glycol, so I said diesel heater.
Got it, thanks, forgot about the diesel engine option for the system, I’m building out a gas engine van with the Rixen system.

Don’t take your RV to Mexico !!! Following an RV couple who had their RV taken in Mexico, with NO reason why, follow up report they were told they won’t be getting back their RVno reason why, they can’t get a reason why.
Pretty sure they didn't have a TIP (which is required) -- and they could get it back, but holy smokes expensive, as in just buy another one expensive....sad...
