Man, an S Glass and an OG Beaver Meadow. Doesn't get better than that. That campsite looks sick.

I ditched my waders the last week in March here in TN. Y’all should get likes just for the intro. When you got into the Rhododendron you gave me flashbacks!😂

I wet waded this week for the first time here in GA. Won’t go back until cold weather. It makes crawling through the brush on a creek easier for sure.

I’m wanting to get into trout fishing I just don’t know what length rod I should get I live in towns county, Georgia in north Georgia fishing around here do you have a preference on what type of rod I should get

Logan, first thanks for watching. You aren’t far away at all from us. I live in Habersham, my mom’s side of the family is from Towns though. I had to go back and watch the video and Adam is fishing a 6.5 foot S glass and I believe Josh has the emerald green 6.5 foot carbon rod. The 5 foot BM comes as a two piece.
With all that said a 5 foot rod is a niche rod and while it’s amazing on small water like we have here on say something like upper high shoals, if you get on something bigger like Corbin, Dukes creek etc. then you have trouble managing the line efficiently. If you get into it then you will have multiple rods for different situations. If you want one size starter rod for small streams then I would go 6.5-7 foot. 7.5 isn’t bad but limits you some on super tiny water. The 6.5 foot S glass Blue Liner is a sweet JP rod in that size. The carbon 6.5 footer is nice as well. There is a lot of rod companies out there but if you settle on JP or want to talk further email us at bluelinetrout@gmail.com and we have a discount code and be happy to answer any questions. Good luck. Nothing like watching a wild GA trout eat a dry fly.
