The Last Days on Concrete: Get us back in the water!!

  • The week has flown by and what we thought was going to take three days, is now dragging. We are getting exhausted. We are sure some grogginess came from our fun excursion the day prior, but we still have quite a number of boxes to check off. So it's time to gear up and get to it!
As we get back into the air, we can now paint the spots where the stilts were holding the boat up, and finally get the rudder out, since the rudder was blocking access from being able to change the cutlass and prop shaft. But thats not all folks, thru-hulls were prepped and dry fitted, so now is the time to actually install them!
So stressful....do you know this is a hole that either intakes ocean water or where you have a drain from out of the boat...so yes ladies and gentleman, it's a hole in your boat! Not something you take lightly. We hesitated to go forth, since it really is an important piece that you do not want to do wrong. But no matter how high tensions are, we work well together. One breath at a time and one project at a time we keep working through it, trying to "FIGURE IT OUT."
Always trying to have a good time, making each other laugh, especially on the hard days. Boats a mess, we are a mess, and we sit at the edge of our seats as we get put back into the water.
    Will there be any leaks?
Did we do a good job?
Watch to find the surprise that knocks us off our feet and really gets our hearts pumping...!!
    Can we get through this?
Still staying a couple through the rough road?
    You tell us!
    Enjoy :)
    Seas the Day,
    Connor, Malwina & Alivo

You said it. You either got money or time but never both it would seam. Honestly to me "time" is more valuable then the money. After all time is the one thing you can never get more of.

The boat looks great. I'm getting ready to replace all my sea cocks also so it was nice seeing how you did them.

    She's looking good, great work.
Nice job not having any leaks.
Were there any zincs that needed replacing?

Thank you! Yes we did replace the zincs, totally forgot to film that, it was one of our only easiest quick fix! We had one on the prop shaft, one on the rudder gudgeon, and a main house one for thru-hulls and such!
