Alivo Sailing

Dream big, then dream even BIGGER!!!
We want to inspire YOU, that anything you dream of, can be achieved!! We are just the average Californian couple that tried to sail to Catalina Island from Oceanside. From that trip on, we set our sails to one day circumnavigate the world.
With a lot of frustration, hard work, grit and tenacity we are both trying to "FIGURE IT OUT!"
In our channel we plan to share the process of how we changed our lives from living on land, to full time living on our 50' sailboat, ALIVO!
We will cover sailing...once projects are finished and we finally start sailing :)
"Projects with Connor," are parts that will go into detail about the technical aspects of our boat.
Meaning lessons in electronics, solar, battery banks, distillation, water filtration, boat repairs, etc.
Oh yeah..and Malwina is a fitness, yoga and breath work instructor so eventually there will be some lessons for all you health and wellness focused folks out there!

Cool Harley Rides & Not So Cool Freezer
We are inching our way closer to fully being disconnected from land. So let's take a break and enjoy one of our favorite toys, the Harley Davidsons. Malwina already sold hers before moving to Marina del Rey, but Connor has been holding on to his for exactly these moments. To be weaving in and out of all the heavy traffic in LA, and to enjoy the coast as tourists one last time.
As we feel so cool back on the badass bike, and cool wind in our hair, we realize the one thing that should be the coldest, is not so cool after all....our freezer.
So here we go, back into getting one of our favorite features about Alivo, back in order. While also fine tuning the last steps for our holding tank, and starting the designing process on expanding our other holding tank.

Power Distribution on a Sailboat

Oh the Weird Things We Find When Rewiring....!!

Is that an elephant trunk?!?!? hahaha. We may be finding weird things in random places during this video project, but no friends, that is sadly our disgusting water ventilation tube!!! Yuckkkkky! So we continue on finishing this project, rewiring it a different direction. As with most projects, we like to do a few at once. So Connor continues his rewiring plan, as we wait for more parts to come...

Solar Arch Research & Design

Our dinghy has been lagging...and we thought it could be because of the build up underneath. We have asked our diver to clean the dinghy when he comes to clean the bottom of the boat, but seems like he keeps skipping out on the dinghy.
