  • CarPro announced this product as part of their SEMA 2021 week. This product was designed to fill in a hole in their line up. Some were using CarPro Inside at 1:1 as an interior quick detailer. CarPro InnerQD is just that. An interior quick detailer that contains a light cleaning ability while leaving behind an OEM finish along with anti-microbial and anti-static properties.
    This is a great product to maintain the leather seats that have been coated with Cquartz Leather.

    Thanks so much for highlighting the fact it smells quite strongly. I'll stick with the meguiar's one for now. I don't notice any strong smells for that one.

    I'm glad you mentioned the smell Mike, I have respiratory issues and Carpro Inside also triggers coughing fits for me. I tried diluting it 1:1 to see if that would help and it still has the same effect. Think this one will have to be a miss for me based on the smell comments, great review though!

      There is just something about the lemon scent in both products that gets to me. InnerQD is not as bad as Inside.

    Great review Mike.
    I got the InnerQD here in Sweden during Blackfriday with a 30% off. Now it's freezing cold here so will wait until it's a little warmer weather. I usually don't do the interior that often. So want to step up my game on that.
    Have you tried the new Carpro Descale yet? I got that too and looking forward to try it out. Also have Cquartz SiC that I will be doing in the spring. Got me a new bottle of Essence that will be the prep for it.

      Sounds like you will be having some fun when it warms up. SiC is a very nice coating. I am planning to use Descale soon.

    I like that you commented on Adam's Interior Quick Detailer. I recently used it and found it great, only problem I had was I got the pumpkin spice edition and the odor would linger up until I took a long drive with the windows rolled down lol. Also the dye they use stains really bad, I noticed it on my applicators, microfibers towels and even on my hands. I'm hoping CarPro releases their InnerQD soon because its everything I was looking for! I'm just wondering if it has any UV protectant properties in it as they don't state it anywhere, but usually dressings already have this which is where the OEM shine might do this. I also have Gyeon Interior Detailer right now and am currently using it, its straight up Isopropyl Alcohol mixed with the scent of CarPro Eraser lol. But thanks for the review man, definitely going to buy this as soon as it comes out and its going to replace Gyeon and Adams lol.

      I did not see any mention of UV protection for InnerQD. From what I have seen in the facebook groups the CarPro representatives see the anti-static properties as a more important feature to keep the interior dust free longer. l look forward to hearing your thoughts on InnerQD when you get it.
      I just saw the email that it is available at CarPro US. I posted a link in the description for it.

    I wonder how this would compare to the Swissvax quick finish interior detailer.

      What are your thoughts between meguiars and Carpro InnerQD?

    • @charlesbardforth6738
      @charlesbardforth6738 Před 2 lety +1

      Both the same. Meguiars one is easier to get a hold off

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  Před 2 lety +2

      CarPro is good but it did not wow me to have me switch from Meguiar’s. The anti static from CarPro is no added benefit and the scent triggers my allergies.

    I find it difficult to currently justify buying a dedicated interior QD when ONR/rinseless does such a great & safe job. Maybe I should consider CarPro inside for the stronger cleaning power, and ?foam?
    Love the videos and honesty- keep them coming

    • @MikeGDetailing

      Thanks. You are right ONR does a good job as well for maintenance wipe downs.

      I also use ONR on the interior but it dose struggle with some of the stuff dirt.

    Hi Mike. Any verbal update on this product? I've ran out of a interior QD. Previously used Adams, tried ONR but was thinking of getting something different. Does this antistatic properties and over all light cleaning work well?

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  Před 2 lety

      The anti static properties are just a claim. I saw no difference using this on a surface wiped with and without. The cleaning is like any other interior detailer. It’s a good product to try but it will not pull me away from Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer. The Adams is good too.

    • @JDrach30
      @JDrach30 Před 2 lety +1

      @@MikeGDetailing In reference to the "no difference.." is that no difference in static buildup on the surface with Inner Qd and another product? Sounds like there's nothing to write off on this product then.

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah u have not seen any difference either dust long on the dash using it and then trying something else. Same for the navigation screen where this was supposed to be sort of game changing. Noticed no difference on the screen.

    I literally just received mine from CarPro. Not a fan of the smell. Sonax Dashboard Cleaner (matte finish) and Gyeon’s Interior Detailer will continue to be my go to interior products.

      Similar product. For the price Meguiar’s works great. I was sent this bottle but I’ll be sticking to Meguiar’s QID and won’t be purchasing CarPro InnerQD.

    How does this compare to inside?

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  Před 2 lety

      Inside will have more cleaning ability the InnerQD. InnerQD is also supposed to have anti-static properties to help with dust.
