Very well thought out and presented review Sandro. Inner QD looks like a really good product and one of the best "quick detailers" for the inside of a cabin on the market today which isn't surprising being that it is from CarPro. I am a sucker for lemon smelling products too which to me personally gives the impression of "clean". Can't wait to get my hands on some of this to give it a try.

Great video as always I really enjoy the way you review and test your products Sandro you always try and exhaust every accpect of the product and back it up with evidence. Before i started my detailing journey. AS and when we got a new compound or polish I would try it only a few times and make a snap decision with no thought of how to explore the best use of the compound. That was due to my lack of knowledge and true understanding of how compounds work. Now i use them for a few months with different pads, speeds and pressure so i get a much better idea of its true potential I have you to thank for that. When it comes to testing. Dont STRESS Do your BEST forget The rest IN sandro we trust.

Idk mate, any time a product makes claims that are hard to verify, red flags immediately go up for me. I'll feel much more comfortable once there's a single video on CZcams confirming the anti static properties. My thought is - any time you rub a towel onto something, you're creating a static charge. So how do these products remove that charge, and why don't we have car waxes and sealants that claim to be anti static as well?
As far as confirming that products are anti microbial...that just seems like a rabbit hole. In the US, the EPA now certifies products that make these claims, but I wouldn't even know where to begin in researching CarPro certifications. What's even more concerning for me with CarPro is how they don't make their SDS sheets readily available. Any legitimate chemical company will provide links to SDS sheets so you can determine product safety before you make a purchase. CarPro, and any other company, makes themselves look like a mickey mouse operation by not providing that information. I think Gyeon is notoriously bad with SDS sheets as well

It’s a very light cleaner so I would expect it to be quite safe on alcantara

Can we use innerqd to clean before applying pearl?

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  Před 9 měsíci

As InnerQD leaves a little something behind, I would personal do an initial first clean with something like Carpro Inside, add Perl and then maintain it and freshen up the interior from time to time with InnerQD.

Hi Sandro, how does this product compare to "P&S XPRESS Interior Cleaner"?
I have been using the P&S to clean all interior surfaces with good results, so I'd be interested in knowing if this is a complement or a replacement?
If a complement, when would you use which one.
    Thanks mate!

Express is a ph neutral interior apc. This is a quick detailer or “finisher” to apply once you’ve cleaned everything /to maintain a conditioned interior.

I would tend to agree, 19$ for a small 500ml bottle is too expensive for a quick detailer. Even if you don't seem to use a lot of product per wash. My previous interior qd was einzett/nexzett and cost me 10$ for 500ml.
I don't understand the price, since it's such a simple product. Bit of smell, light cleaning and fast drying. Probably ipa with a bit of smell like a window cleaner or carpro eraser. But i guess the pandemic has made every alcool based product an expensive thing.
The antidust claims have been made a lot previously for exterior quick detailer and interior too. it's just something that you can't quantify or barely notice. I tried one from a british company, and i couldn't observe any noticeable effect on pollen and light dust.
Now that covid is a thing, every company to put out a product with high alcool concentration, it's labelled anti-microbial. Which is probably fair, but should window cleaner be labelled as such too such for the sake of it? Marketing much?
I think interior qds are a good solution to do maintenance clean fast and easy for most cases, but they don't need to be over complicated and overpriced.

The anti static claims are soooo sketchy. CarPro have a 50/50 shot on their website of a nav screen, and you can clearly see the "dirty" half is in focus, and the "clean" half is out of focus. Makes you wonder what else they do that's sketchy

it's too expensive for detailer..it's hard to pass on the extra cost to customers. but I don't mind using it on my own car.

Anti-microbial is a loose term. Wiping over a surface with just water is an anti-microbial action. 1 drop of dish soap in 1 litre spray bottle of water will clean a surface safely also with anti microbial properties. Cleaning mitigates microbial risk. The term is used loosely as none of the claim can be measured in real world situation without controlled sampling and ATP testing etc. Anti microbial is also non specific and does not imply that it kills viruses. It merely implies it mitigates a broad spectrum of potential microbial development.
    Its a Marketing word.
