I watched a video after typing "what is a master board in junk journaling" and the first video that popped up discussed cool colors, some kind of keys, then warm colors, and directions like horizontal or vertical and landscape and there were diagrams and it STRESSED ME OUT. I got out of that video and found this one. Thank God for Pam. You summed up a master board in one sentence. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Good Morning! Another awesome video of inspiration just in time for the weekend.. YAY My daughter came up with an idea to use her candy wrappers for a collage look. I have to say starburst wrappers give great spring colors for collage flowers. We also used the M&M characters for a bit of humor on a page.

Good morning Pam. I’ve watched a lot of artists “dithering and overthinking” the placements ... I like your method best...whack, whack, whack! Very fast and the end results are great!
Maybe I played too much Whack-a mole as a kid ;)!
I overthink... Which means I never get any crafting done. I'm too much of a perfectionist which leads to me judging and picking apart everything I do and finally giving up and not doing anything. This channel is helping me overcome that 🥰.
You are so funny, this is exactly what I did for redoing the inside of a trunk, what a mess but it sure is worth it-I sealed everything with a clear sealer because it was a trunk..what a terrific video to use all our scraps...thanks

STICKY...This is something I can do and I like to do. Especially when I don't have any inspiration. Just grab and glue. You don't have to think. When your hyper, it cools you down. Good morning! Awesome Master roll! I feel Pam that you could junk journal your way out of your room without ever purchasing a thing! You have an amazing stash! I have never seen so much washi tape. But you do know where to source your goods! There is a thrift store I have found that I think will be my "go-to"! Keep on crafting on Pam!

I've made masterboards but I like this so much more! You can choose little "moments of joy" where ever and it can be so different by the other end. It's like the ombre

This is a great idea for a background, that I can do when feeling really tired in my brain! Who doesn't have loads of scraps?! You're always a pure delight to watch - and I love it when Holly is in the background!! Put the volume up not to miss any of his funny twitter and whistles, haha ha! Doesn't he ever walk across your desk when you're crafting?!? My cat used to lie down on the thing I was making, he he! Honestly, I haven't tried this on paper, but since there wasn't any conclusion as to whether the ModPodge was flexible enough long-term for rolling up, I thought to suggest something like Aleene's Flexible Stretchable Fabric Glue. It's an adhesive for knitsand stretch fabrics and dries clear. Your projects are always a delight! Thanks for YouTubing them.!

I have used poster board, Manila folder, card stock, book pages and now will try on craft paper. I’ve used mod Podge, glue stick and gel medium, all worked well. Cleans up those scraps for sure. I was waiting for you to do this too. I did ink some of the papers, when I glued onto the book pages. One more idea, before I cut it up I scanned it into my computer and have a digital for myself. I embellished it before scanning. Used washi tape to hold my stuff on while scanning. My journals are for myself, personal use. Sometimes I add Tim Holtz people on it too. 👍🦜🦜

Chewy packs their boxes with great brown paper. Yes it’s scrunched up but I have ironed it but I smooth it out and save it
Very resourceful! Yes much of craft supplies come straight through the front door in the form of packaging! Its awesome! :)
I save all of that packing paper, there are so many uses for it. Love using it for gelli prints.

I created my first pair of coordinating 12x18 masterboards a few weeks ago. At first I couldn't understand why I would want any but now that I have done it I get it! I had copies of mine made to cut up for elements and ephemera.

Is it a faux pas to reply to my own comment?? Probably. Clearing my craft desk yesterday I moved the ever increasing pile of book jackets from books I am gutting for journals. Now they as well as the old books will get a new life. Master Jackets LOL. Cheers.

I think I am going to do this with junk mail envelopes and use the technique you showed using a napkin and paper tape around the edges. May not look good, but I'm going to give it a try.

Hi pamaroo, I did this on book pages to use up torn bits from a pad, didn't think to add stickers n all what you did, n I just used glue stick but your idea looks sooo ok good I do it next time xx
