im born in South Africa, learning german was not easy because so many words in Afrikaans sound the same as german but have different meanings because Afrikaans is not a language, its a half dialect of Dutch--Holland, in the 1700 thousands of Hollanders moved to South Africa, Afrikaans was only in 1932 recognised as a " language "

very nice lessons, however I must make you aware of some spelling errors in some of the typed examples. e.g aangenaame should have only 1 a like aangename

Please note that they made a mistake. "goed dankie, EN met jou?" Not "ek" because ek is translated to "I". Another mistake they keep making is: they use the word "jou" then translate it to "you". The translation of "you" is "jy" and "jou" is "your".
