what is the difference between Jou and Jy
Jy is the second person singular subject pronoun, jou is the object pronoun AND possessive. Jy praat Engels? Do you speak English? Vs. ek hou van jou. I like you. Or jou oë is mooi. Your eyes are pretty. Hope that helps!
Jou is your and jy is you, eg Het jy jou werk gedoen? Did you do your work?
