Easiest Geode Cake- Easter Cake Tutorial

Probably the simplest way to make an eye catching, realistic looking geode cake- Enter the airbrush! Using edible airbrush colours and an airbrush can give you the richest, most realistic looking geode, compared to using pre-coloured crystals alone. I have to be honest, I wasn't 100% sure this would work lol! My first time trying, and I was blown away by the results. The sugar crystals did not disintegrate after making contact with the moisture, which is what I thought would happen. I think because the airbrush colours are usually alcohol based, the moisture evaporates pretty quickly and leaves behind that gorgeous colour in its stead.
