25:44 im pretty sure the subject of the sentence is "it" from expanding "it's" and not "a writing technique"
You're right that the main subject of the sentence is "it." You know your stuff!
I should have been more clear-"a writing technique" is the logical subject to the relative clause that belongs to the missing verb "creates." Getting even more into the weeds, "that" is technically the grammatical subject of the relative clause. So when I talk about finding the subject, I mean the logical subject of the clause where the underlined portion lives.
I will try to clarify this in future videos (hopefully without confusing anyone). For now, I'll pin your comment in case anyone else has similar questions or wants further clarification. Thanks for helping us delve deeper into this topic!
Thank you. The video really helped out a lot. I'm taking the May SAT soon and you make a few of my struggles on the SAT a little bit more easier.
I'm so glad to hear it. Good luck-you got this!
27:57 wow man I saw this technique being used in other channels, but you explained it a lot better! Thanks, I can do them way faster now
I'm so glad to hear it! Happy to help.
Nice vid thx. Do you think the question bank is a good resource?
Based on the first official exam that took place in March, I think most of the easier questions are a good resource, as well as most of the more challenging English questions. I can't say the same for the difficult math questions; I would look to practice exams 5 and 6 for those.
Hopefully, College Board will update it to better reflect the official exams.
@@RevolutionPrepOk. Is there anywhere else other than practice tests 5 and 6 I can find harder math problems?
I don't know about harder, but if you want brand new problems you've never seen, we are currently offering a free proctored digital exam: www.revolutionprep.com/programs/test-prep/digital-sat/
Hello, thank you for your effort! I’m taking the May sat, could you give me some advices for boosting my verbal scores from 500-600 to 700+ within a 1.5 week😭
Thanks for watching! Keep working on practice problems, watch our "5 Ways the English Section Will Trick You" video, and follow along with our last-minute practice video when it comes out next Wednesday.
Just keep in mind that moving up that much in such a short time is a huge challenge-even for many of our private tutoring students. If you don't hit it this time, don't beat yourself up. Whatever happens, you'll learn from the experience and come back stronger if you decide to take another one. You got this!
26:24 use it for most of these
Good call!
semi colon = period on SAT, right?
MOST of the time, but there is an exception-check out 4:14 from this video: czcams.com/video/0ASsK5pm5bM/video.html
@@RevolutionPrep oh thank a million
My exam on 4 may can u give me tips to boost score from 1050
We're release a video today on ways you can boost your score without studying, so check that out.
As far as study goes-Use any strategies mentioned in this video, and make sure to focus on your weak areas based on your practice exam results. Find out what simple mistakes you are making that you can avoid on the real thing (like answering for x instead of y, for example). We will be putting out a last-minute study video on Wednesday that you can utilize as well.
24:26 oh they want us to FAIL
Feels that way, right?! Yeah, I am not a fan of the trickery.
Is it from bluebook test 5 or test 6?
I was actually using questions from 5, 6, and the CollegeBoard "My Practice" question bank.
I find always 18 in 25th question 😩
Are you following the same steps from the video? Just remember you want the exponent to be "1." That's why I went with the reciprocal-4/6.
ömer ,kanka desmostan yapabilirsin bak önce verdiği formülü aynen yaz sonra t=0 yap başlangıçtaki değerini bul 260 çıkacak sonrasında her ay %4 artıyor diyor 260 ın % 4 ünü bul 10.4 çıkıyor. Sonrasında teker teker şıkları deneyeceksin t yi yıl olarak vermiş ay olarak bulmamızı istiyor bundan dolayı t= 8/12 yap cevap 270.4 çıkıyor yani %4 artmış umarım anlatabilmişimdir :D
birde formulu yazarken p(t) şeklinde yazma direk 260(1.04)^(6/4)t olarak yaz desmosa
