Cool
Don't forget most people don't hobby at the speed you guys do. If someone got 3x boxes of this to build a dedicated 3k Solar Auxilliary army, by the time most people are done assembling and painting, GW will have released more stuff. :D
You have a very valid point. But I'd say that most veteran wargamers will plan out an army selection before purchasing/starting to build. The box 'starter' set is a good base, but leaves much lacking for the requirements of a full force. So it's a question for a 'new' gamer of, 'do I just get this cause it's cool and hope that the rest of what is released flushes out into a full competitive list', or do I wait for more release and miss the discounts from this box. Neither is the wrong choice depending on the individual.
Do you think GW did any play testing of Solar Auxilia prior to putting this box together? If so, do you think it opened any eyes on how bad artillery is this edition and how dumb the Heavy subtype rules are?
Me neither.
Quick one here. No. đ
Never bought that book, its a disgrace that they dare to sell it.
