Hi just a correction at 52:20 the city of Constantinople wasn't renamed to Istanbul after the conquest it was already being called that by a colloquial saying known as "Est Tan Poli" meaning to the city. Also immediately after the conquest the city was called Konstantinnye by the ottoman Turks and not Istanbul
@@KingdomofArabia indeed. It was not the result of one individual but the effect of it was claimed by one individual however. I also agree with the uselessness in trying to persue a conspiracy surrounding the event.

Well as much as it may be hurtful unfortunately the American introduction to the Islamic world was because of the result of that event.
