We have some pretty FAB locks with security pins too. Try to find on ebay everything above FAB 200, model 1000 is pretty commone over here and provides decent security.

Ja osobne nedám dopustiť na zámky FAB, mám celkom slušnú zbierku, najstaršiu vložku FAB ktorú mám je z roku 1932, ešte z čias, keď sa podnik volal ToZaKov (TZK) [Továrna Zámkových Kování], každopádne každej vložke, hoci aj inej značky sa v Česku aj na Slovensku hovorí "Fabka" :D

Just started this as a hobby. Digging the videos, tutorials and showing the picks and how to use them (correctly). Other videos are not as good.
I'd love to see some videos of you picking _in situ_ , say at a door or a lock that is connected to a chain on a gate, etc. Some real-life examples.

The pawl is just like an old Yale Jr. wafer lock... which I spent a month trying to open, until I finally milled it open to discover a broken wafer stuck in the groove... the joy of old key-less locks.

So look forward to your videos, still on the hunt for locks and pins. I managed to get a few from friends and family. Saving up for an ultimate adversary lock. Might take a while, but I'll get there.

I am from Czech Republik and I have picked multiple FAB padlocks. This is one of the newer ones, older ones have easilly accesable keyway.
Záleží na modelu, některý starší z výšších řad mají i security piny, ale ne tyhle obyčejný.

I have plenty of those and pick them regularly for fun. It is nice to see you pick them way faster than I can :D Also about the top cut on the key; As far as I know this type of key comes with the cut from factory and is just used for most of the Fab locks now. I can confirm that I have a Fab lock with an actual pin on top :)
Very cool ideas in this lock, from the locking mechanism (brilliant!) to the coloured dots. A better cylinder and more/better security pins would have been good..

Nice lock that cast body looks vonrabl to a two # sledge, I don't know how you use that tron pick I have one and keep going back to the offset hybrid.

I came across a FAB euro lock. I tried to get a replacement but the Assa Abloy people acted like I was wanting something from the planet Klingon. They were no help at all.

If I had Czech neighbors or knew how to contact them I would gladly do so.
The accessibility with a thick pick is disappointing. I have a Euro-profile cylinder advertised as class 3 from the same lineup. Not in my door though. It seems to have a better warding than this, but if it also is wider inside, then it's sure good I replaced it with an Evva.
They are interesting but maybe not so fab...that keyway faceplate only is a bit of a con for an Abloy product.

Why do they put enamel I locks?
By the look of that key the pins should be wsu back inside the lock but are not ?? If they made a lock where the pins where further back inside the lock than most picks i feel that would beat you?

Hi Bill , whats the hole in the side, is it for the colour coding.
It's for water drainage. So if water gets inside the lock, it can leak out without much resistance.

he have a video on a motorcycle lock that he was unable to lockpick and the common thief would not be able to drill it open, just search for bosnianbill motorcycle lock to see for yourself, (note: i dont know where you can find the core of the lock that you can fit into a door. also a chain is only as strong as its weakest link which in this case means you will also need to have a door that cant be forced up without unlocking it)

it is possible that you can find a core that you can fit into a door as i said a chain is only as strong as its weakest link which in this case is the door itself, door frame and windows. so unless you upgrade all those too you will do fine with an average lock.
