So as you can tell, FNAF didn't come out yesterday. The problem is that the day of the upload, I got a copyright strike on the channel. It's all being worked out, but the thing is, when there's a strike on the channel, you can no longer upload videos longer than 15 minutes, which complicates things since the final episode is 18 minutes.

@@maxpatty5814 yeah...that being said don't ever feel like the lore is *unsolvable* or anything. Is it difficult? That's an understatement. But it's still an ONGOING story as Scott has said - he also said that the next few years of FNAF projects will answer the fandoms biggest questions so things are looking up imo. Biggest things we need help with right now are the crying child from FNAF 4 (is he Michael and if not who does he become), whats happening in "Midnight Motorist" from FNAF 6, and who are the shadows?

@@Coqui2005 we kinda already know that though...the novels and games have undeniable *crossover* (human characters like Henry, William, the murdered children etc) but they're in *different universes* - if they were canon in any way we would NEED them to help solve the games, but Scott has said we dont. As for the current short stories, he made a post on reddit saying they CAN (or rather will since there's only one out right now) help us with the games. Remember: he doesn't mean the events in the books are meant to be taken literally as stuff that happened, because they have much weirder and wackier universe-breaking elements than anything in the games. Instead, there will be the occasional toned down story that DOES make sense within the games, or we just have to prepare for lots of symbolism.
The funny thing is we just found out all of the previous fnaf 1, 2, 3, 4 games and Sister Location were not real and were fabrications.

I like how in the span of four episodes, Mike Schmidt went from being the murderer of the five innocent children, to being “An innocent guy just trying to do his job in a failing pizza place”.
I just find that funny.

My only problem with this theory is that it clearly couldn’t have been phone guy even back then. He sounded both surprised and scared that someone used the suits to commit the murders in the final call in FNAF 2, it wasn’t him because he was horrified by what he saw or heard. It was obvious from even back then that he had no connection to the crimes.
Well, who else would it be?
The only viable option, even back then, was the owner of the restaurant.
@@RiptideX_well it still couldn’t be phone guy, because MatPat mentions in this video how phone guy was killed by the animatronics, and purple guy was killed in the spring lock suit, and then completely forgets that major flaw that ruins everything, and then goes on to further over complicate how simple the last few pieces of this story were.
TL;DR: MatPat completely forgets the biggest flaw in his theory after mentioning it 10 secs prior, proceeds to not answer the question he said he would.
Yeah it’s just the issue of “MatPat didnt want to say its just someone we havent met because that would be a bad video” and the phone guy is the ONLY other person in the first two games so he had to twist things so the killer would be him
I like how the “Phone Guy is Purple Guy” theory can now be disproven, not by any sort of important information, but by simply knowing that Purple Guy has a very different voice than Phone Guy.

You know, with the little information we had, Phone guy as purple guy made the most sense at the time.
I always thought that the theory was wrong because they both die in a different way. phone guy dies after a bad night while working the night shift and is most likely killed by Freddy I would assume because his music plays in the phone call. and purple guy dies because he got into the spring bonnie suit while running from the spirits of the dead children
It’s not a bad theory at all, honestly. The name “William Afton” isn’t made aware to the players until the later games came out and the franchise later expands into different mediums like books and spinoffs. With the info given up to this point, it makes sense.

Kinda hard to believe there was talk about a movie in 2015, and now 8 years later it's due to be released in a few months as of writing this. This franchise became so much more than anyone could have anticipated
i’m a firm believer that matpat is a huge reason fnaf got as popular as it did! He made the detailed lore into something entertaining yet digestible, which left us wanting more. Him being in the movie was so well deserved :)

mokarevolution567 Honestly, I think foxxy would be better. Hook as a weapon, jaws (could be reckoned and fixed), and some sort of haunt fatalities and the obvious bite. Like, having the suit fall down, slumped over (similar to golden freddy), and some sort of wispy looking stuff goes into the enemy (the soul) and makes them commit suicide.

Okay, so I had trouble with the theory that Phone Guy is the killer after all, so I went back to listen to some of the phone calls. It was then that I picked up on something in FNAF 3's night 4 phone call. Specifically this line:
"Safety is our top priority at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, which is why the classic suits are being retired to an appropriate location, while being looked at by our technician."
The technician. The damn technician.
Like phone guy, the technician would have knowledge of the safe rooms, as it would be a good place to make repairs on animatronic suits. That tool you mentioned the purple security guard was holding in the FNAF 2 minigame? That's a device the technician probably used, as he would not only know how to shut them off, but dismantle them.
Also take this in consideration. If the kids bodies were stuffed in the suits(whether by the puppet or the killer himself), that's not something a technician would overlook when making repairs, unless he was the killer himself, who later removed the bodies to hide the evidence. I mean, if the restaurant was reported for the animatronics having what looked like mucus coming from their eyes, wouldn't someone discover a stuffed body in there?
That...actually makes a lot of sense. Yeah, that seems like the most probable theory. No joke.
This has me confused. Both theories make sense - however surely the technician would know that rain would set off the springlock suit? Also the technician didn't appear until the 4th location, whereas the killer first struck at the first location, and the phone guy first spoke to us at the second. Also, the phone guy and the killer both love foxy and hate the puppet
In addition to this, the technician is only mentioned once and isn't an important character, whereas the phone guy plays a key part in every single game and location. (Ps we first talk to phone guy in 3rd location, not 2nd. My bad! Although we know from the tapes that he was present in the second location.)
But we don't have that much of evidence
