One thing I really love about Spider-Man games based off of the movies is the fact that none of them have any proper continuity whatsoever and they throw in a shit ton of Spider-Man's Rogues Gallery for like no reason. Makes the game so much more fun especially with the tweaks to the movie's plot.

Fighting the Lizard in TASM1 was so freaking stressful
Super hero mode in hunter boss fights is more stressful

To me the first Amazing Spider-Man game was more thrilling and adventurous. For its storyline a much more stronger emotional tone and I actually like the giant boss fight we received. More importantly how we get to play as Stan Lee in one of the DLCs

I'll be honest, this is arguibly the most interrsting version of Cletus Kassidy/Carnage.
I'm all for him just being a straight up monster, and he still is here, but the idea that this version partially started killing *because* Spiderman inspired him is *fascinating*
He admires Peter, he sees him as the ultimate predator who is stifling his own potential because of, in his mind, an outdated sense of morality.
He basically wants to show him what he could really be, but the worst version possible.
They also give him an inkling of a tragic backstory, which explains why he goes on his killing spree and I appreciate that they don't try to buy sympathy points. Cletus is still a monster.
Overall, while the game did feel like a mess, Cletus and Kraven were definite highlights.
I prefer the first PlayStation Spiderman's version. He was much more unnerving and creepy, a straight up monster.
That being said, I appreciate that Cletus was so chill and able to get under Spiderman's skin so effortlessly.
He points out the weakness in Spiderman's behavior so casually, and he does it all with a calm, joyful smile, never losing his temper.
I love those sorts of villains.
While I still think Carnage works better as the giddy maniac, I think this version was very interesting in his own right.
It is an interesting take that gave him more nuance than carnage is supposed to have. That’s why people don’t like it cus he should just be pure evil. I don’t mind it tho

If you read the bios, there are references to Morbius, the venom symbiote, doc ock. There’s Easter eggs in the city about hydro man, Mr Negative, man wolf, vulture, sandman. In the mobile games, you also fight venom.

is that a question? or a theory? No, they're not the same kingpin in Bee-nox's TASM movie game universe Kingpin had the taskforce that already runs the streets and the city, he already owned oscorp and monitored the city with surveillance with a underground base and owned Ravencroft continuing Oscorp's research by testing everybody in Ravencroft with cross-species genetics. kingpin is also a mayor that was never suspected nor arrested for any wrong doing. so no it didn't pick up anything nor continue TASM 2 because at the end of tasm 2 it already introduce Chameleon in the post credit scene and he basically ran the city with more help on the way.

@@Oldschool1943 just saying it's like a nice flow, narrative bookending. Not saying that they are the same characters or in the same universe, doesn't have to be, and isn't. It's not a theory or a reach, just that it's a nice touch, like an unintentional callback. One thing ends showing one character still being powerful and another thing begins with a version of the character that is dealt with first.

Ya know, marvels spiderman really is a great game but these aren't bad... they seem good enough for the era... i think what hurt these games was just how great spiderman 2 ps2 2004's swinging was, that kind of affected a lot of spiderman games... surprisingly ultimate spiderman had very good swinging too..

@@The_Albino_Jackal in one of the old spiderman comics i read that my grandpa owns spiderman even lsot part of his memoriy, the part that he ius peter parker and only know he was spiderman, he way trained then by kraven for a few months until he got his memories back through a shock and his effiency increased highly in capturing and fighting villains

I liked the TASM 1 game because it was essentially a sequel to the first film set I think it was a few months after the first movie. But then the second movie game just because a different story that was honestly worse than the movie

Não são ruins, TASM 1 é o melhor na minha opinião, não só pelos gráficos mas também pela a jogabilidade que "inovou" na época, o TASM 2 foi apenas uma cópia do primeiro só que pior.

tasm 2 game tried to recreate the second movie but the movie is shit so, the game ended up having way too many sub plots and it caused continuity errors and plot holes within the story. tasm 2 game should've been a direct continuation from the first game and a epilogue to the movie like the first game was.
