This game’s quality is a bit iffy in some places, but I really had a lot of fun with it. The boss fights were definitely the highlight, and I love that exchange between Stan and Peter at the end. That’s honestly some really good dialogue.

True. The mechanics were actuallyy better than the first one from what I remember. Just wish it was longer. Regardless it did pioneer the mechanics found in Spiderman PS4, such as the traversal and left/right swinging.

So I've never seen amazing Spider-Man 2 the film, but this game somehow from its cutscenes alone had an over arcing story about Carnage while Electro was just some random blue guy.

@@justsomedude1752 I played Spiderman 2-3, WOS, Shattered Dimensions, TASM, and It beats most of 'em. It feels underdeveloped, but it really had greater potential than Spider-Man PS4. This game was rushed. I can barely imagine what it would've been like if it was released atleast a year later.

It more because unlike the first game where it took place after the movie this one tried to be a extended version of the 2nd movie with the gang war, kraven, kingpin, and carnage arcs they should have kept these games as events that take place after the movies

This game turns 10 this year. It’s oddly nostalgic. I remember when it came out I was like 7. Played almost the whole game in one night after school. My mom was pissed when she got home from work, at like 11. I was in the middle of fighting electro too. I replayed it a few years ago and thought it didn’t age well compared to the insomniac games. I guess some memories are best left untouched. Growing up, this game was the shit

It’s funny that the most irrelevant characters in this game are Electro and Green Goblin yet they were in the movie itself. They were just crammed in to be called The Amazing Spider-Man. Without them the story would’ve actually been pretty decent.

Gotta agree the worst thing about the story of the game was the worst thing about the story of the movie- the villains.
I don’t like the boss fight for Kingpin, but I admittedly prefer the voice acting and sumo-based fighting style of Kingpin compared to Spider Man PS4.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game is so cool and the most best Spider-Man game based from the second Spider-Man movie after the first movie.
