- There seems to be no end in sight yet, regarding the saga over Evans the kidnapper. The convicted billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, has approached the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja for settlement. Evans and his co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, who are facing charges bordering on murder and attempted kidnap, have opted for the option of a plea bargain. The state prosecution counsel, Yusuf Sule informed the court about the plea bargain option, after the case was called for re-arraignment before Justice Adenike Coker.

After retrieving the money, the judge should change the sentence from life imprisonment to 70 years imprisonment. 70 years time plus his current age, all things being equal.
