Justin Wrobleski did a great job! He gave up a few runs, but it never looked like it rattled him. The offense let him down.

Overall I thought Justin Wrobleski did quite well in his debut, just unfortunately got very little run-support. Even with the series win, I think the Dodgers really need to improve on just stringing hits together. You can’t always rely on the home-runs. Anyway, excited for the series in Philadelphia, I hope they make it a good one.
Yes he did okay, but the bullpen we're not. It's hard to give pressure to the opponent's pitchers if they have 9 runs. The game was 4-2 at the moment, and the Dodgers could give the Brewers pressure in the late innings if they kept the score 4-2.
It happened against Diamondbacks too, man they had bat practice against the Dodgers. We can't expect them to score plenty of runs everyday.

During the Dodgers 111 win season, Roberts played too much of the regulars. That’s been his style in the past.
This year he’s putting new pitchers out there. Many of them won’t make the post season roster.
I actually prefer to see Freddie Freeman having a day off or two against crummier teams too in the dog days of summer.
well the pitches he got homered off were right in the middle of the zone simple location mistake and baseball varies day to day bullpen just was not it today

Wrobleski's individual performance was actually really good. I'm impressed whenever I happen to watch a Dodgers game because they went out and signed Shohei but now despite the fact that he's not pitching this year their starting rotation of pitchers is honestly looking solid, certainly not like the rotation that you would expect from a team who paid a record breaking all time contract to an athlete at the position who is now missing from it. Very, very impressive stuff. They just need to clean up some small issues here and there but there's a reason why they're a top team in the league.
The dodgers have a serious pitching problem.
They have a great pitcher that they never use and probably WILL never use him

Missing some important players and having a few guys flirting with the Mendoza line doesn't help either
Some of these line ups and pitching rotations that Roberts puts together make the dodgers noncompetitive.
- Lack of clutch hitting
- Wrong pitcher at the wrong time
- Leaving pitchers in too long
- Pull a rookie in his first start if he throws a couple good innings. Build on it in the next game.
- They will need a 100 win season to avoid the wild card.

I don't watch the game when Yarbrough comes out. He makes me give up watching the game. Dave Roberts has no idea what he's doing.
This was an unusually poorly edited highlights video. They kept having the announcers say what happend before it showed what happend. So basically every time they did that was like a spoiler.
I feel like some days the dodgers are a clear shot for the world series I’m not a fan I hate the dodgers but then some days I feel like they won’t make it to the World Series some days they play good and then some days they play horrible against not so good teams

The Dodgers seemed to have the attitude of "We've won the series, so whatever" today. They used a rookie pitcher nobody's heard of and threw in a bullpen that looked like leftovers.😅The only highlight was Ohtani's 20-20 achievement and breaking Bellinger's franchise record of 220 total bases before the All-Star break.🦄💨
This is an errant comment. The Dodgers had no choice but to use a rookie pitcher. Their starting pitchers have been near awful the past week and a half; no one has pitched at least 6 innings with three runs or fewer. Their bullpen is taxed. Monday’s travel day will be a welcome break.

Brewers did well to salvage this game, but can't help but feel Dodger manager Dave Roberts didn't NEARLY do enough to go for the sweep (having Barnes handle that rather promising rookie pitcher Wrobleski instead of Smith, swapping out Pages for Outman right after Brewers starter Keuchel was pulled, that sort of thing). Gonna be quite telling in the upcoming series against the Phillies if the Dodgers do indeed have a truly competent team manager to finally get them over their current postseason hump dating back to the end of the 2021 season. If not, no sense in me and many other Dodger fans tuning in to another underachieving, homegrown talent-blocking excuse for a WS contender...

It’s a Sunday 1 PM game in LA, busy days are usually Friday Saturday for the fireworks drone show and to see it through to a series win. Most would show for a better “name brand” team sadly, still love my Dodgers and all the new casuals lol

Official attendance was no doubt bigger than what was in seats. But July 4th is often a bigger attendance weekend in a lot of MLB cities.
My comment was really just pointing out the fickleness of LA fans, I know the paid attendance figures. The Brewers are a 1st place team, more LA fans should have been there imo. I'm shocked they weren't.

Ohtani is the most overrated player in sports history. Always chases OBVIOUS balls that are way out of strike zone, and then sits on pitches that are OBVIOUS strikeouts. Judge or anyone else could've easily hit 3 Homer's given what Ohtani was pitched. Ohtani is being exposed for the mediocre player that he is.
