    I am a Weeble owner. I've had challenges with occasional jitters which has been frustrating. You think you have a perfect shot, only to find out later there has been a sudden motor movement. I have spent a lot of time working with settings, but I think it's the nature of the gimbal. Also, it's important to point out some quality concerns. Straight out of the box I had a problem with the plate tightening screws. Zhyun was kind enough to send a replacement part from China. Also, it would no longer start up after about 4 weeks of use and needed to be sent in for repair. The insured shipping (at my cost) is expensive. It feels cheaply built, and given early problems I wonder how long it will last. If I had to do it over I would definitely buy something more rugged and time tested. I would only recommend to someone who absolutely needs the small size and has some money to burn for eventual repairs.

    Thanks for this great video! I noticed you are using a6500, right? The image quality of your slow motion shots (60fps or 120?) in the beginning look amazing. What color profile/ sharpness setting r u using? Cheers

    Do you still have the G6 Plus? I would love to see a size comparison of the two. I have the weebil, but find it too big for my a6400. Wondering if the G6 would feel like a better fit. Awesome review BTW!

    My low battery anxiety kicked in @6:01 🥴 the big bummer is follow mode needs constant pressure on that front button. That basically rules out its use in low angle mode 🥺 btw - the buttons can be locked out to avoid accidental operation when handheld. “Weebill” is the name of a small bird, I guess it fits being this is a small device that flies a camera.

    Thanks for this awesome video for the Weebill Lab! Was looking for a video like this because I'm planning to buy the Weebill Lab for my Canon M50 and was worrying that my M50 would be too light. What camera are you using? Is that the RX100 iii? You had no problems with it being too light?

      @@ChristopherBurress thanks so much for replying and for this video! I have a question, what if I use a Canon M50 body which is very light and an adaptor to use a Canon 16-35mm f2.8 lens which is a very heavy one, it means that I have to mount it all the way back on the plate right? Do you think it will hit the gimbal if going into vortex or underslung? Thank you so much!

    What's your opinion between this gimbal and the crane 2 when it comes to stability?

    • @ChristopherBurress
      @ChristopherBurress  Před 5 lety

      Very similar as far as smoothness goes. There is a little latency when panning on the crane 2 that I'm not a big fan of. I think this one is a little more refined.

    It broke on me after one month of use. It appears that screw, which held the mounting plate was not able to hold the plate and it was sliding back an forth. It broke on me while I was on vacation and all plans to do videos using gimbal went to handheld. I fixed the screw a day later even not having a proper screwdriver and using a knife to properly tight the inner screw with internal spring. Horrible design. Now I always worry that it will give up on my not in the right time and will always carry a proper screwdriver with me.

    • @ChristopherBurress
      @ChristopherBurress  Před 5 lety

      The screw that holds the split mounting plate together failed on you?

    • @olegvorkunov5400
      @olegvorkunov5400 Před 5 lety +1

      @@ChristopherBurress No. The screw, which is used first to balance the gimbal. The bottom screw, which adjust the plate front/back axis. The screw has inner thread which has a spring. If it is not tight, it will not hold the plate, even though outer screw is tight to the gimbal body. I need to get extra these screws, just in case they fail. Material is not that good for these screws.

    • @halcyonramirez6469
      @halcyonramirez6469 Před 5 lety

      I had the same problem too. you mean you were able to fix it by tightening the screw?
      how were you able to tighten it?

    • @olegvorkunov5400
      @olegvorkunov5400 Před 5 lety +1

      @@halcyonramirez6469 The adjusting screw has 2 parts. The lever has inner screw and lever is attached to that screw by another tiny screw with a spring inside. If that tiny screw is not tight enough, lever will not adjust the plate, because it will stop earlier (about 1mm) earlier. Therefore it will not hold the plate in place. That tiny screw needs to be tighten by using very small screwdriver. I was able to use a knife to do that. Looks at the bottom part of the lever, and you will see that tiny screw cap for Allen Wrench screwdriver head.
