*The only downfall **do7.pl/ZStabilizer** I found is the rosette mount. Admittedly, I had to return my first Weebill S because the rosette mount is screwed into the soft aluminum body by and hand full of tiny screws which have very short lengths and small threads. When mounting my monitor using a bracket from SmallRig, the rosette mount snapped right off of the body and stripped the screw holes and could be repaired. I wish Zhiyun had used a harder steel for that portion of the body so that the screws didnt strip the holes so easily.*

I just order Zhiyun weebill lab and it will reach my home after 3 days, will it work fine with Canon EOS 70d and its default lens? Because i couldn't find my camera type in the compatibility list.
3:21 what if I have an HDMI cable coming directly down from the camera? Are you saying the Weebill will not fight the cable's resistance?

awesome tips throughout the video, thanks! but please consider smoothing out the S-sonsonants in the audio with post processing, this slightly lisp-ish voice sounds quite harsh with the headphones on.

Is there a way to get the iPhone/smartphone responsive? It’s always delay when I move the camera and gimbal. Is there an alternative accessories to mount an external camera monitor like the Atomos Shinobi?
The delay is related to the environment interference and the camera hdmi output rate. We are doing our best to improve it.

I've been looking endlessly if the zhiyun weebill lab can follow while being on the tripod e.g. when using it while vlogging talking to the camera and the camera can follow me while I move around. Can it do that?
The app has a 'follow target' function, so it should be able to do it. How well will it track? Don't know yet, haven't played with this. Just got mine and pretty damn happy with it so far!

Thanks Brad, very helpful stuff! One thing bothers me, the triple lock does lock every button APART from the power on / off button. This should be addressed as I have accidentally powered off the Weebill numerous times (especially when using both hands to operate, which is very much to my liking). This should be addressed as follows: Triple clicking the LV button locks''ALL'' buttons (including the power on / off button!). But when ''ALL'' buttons are locked, the pressing of LV or POV button together with power button will power off the gimbal... This is in case if anything goes terribly wrong and Gimbal needs to be shut off in the emergency. Keep up the great work!
what really sucks is if someone like me who always use the All follow F mode but dislike holding the button to maintain all the time , so when my phone run out of the battery , BOOM! and frequently mess up with the power off button as well, I am thinking maybe I should use my Plus as well, rather than this gear.

if i pair the weebill with g7x camera, can i take pictures or start recording by pressing the button on the weebill? (example long press for taking pictures etc)? can the weebill be paired with the g7x? cheers

I want use the follow mode (f) on zhiyun webill lab, without press the front button or use phone for make it.
I think that the mode (F) is more important of the mode (pov) that have a dedicated button
Same here, did they release a firmware for this?
Turning on full-follow mode (without having to keep the front button pressed) is now possible with the latest firmware (v1.88): hold the trigger to engage follow mode, then tap the 'LV' button 3 times to lock all of the controls. This keeps the trigger locked on. To unlock, just tap the "LV" button 3 times.

Hey I just bought the webill lab. And I have a gh5 with a 12-60mm Panasonic lense. My set up weighs about 2.5lbs and it does say it holds up to 6ish lbs. I am worried about the compatibility list since it does not show my lense . Would that be a problem? With using the gimbal?😳
This lens can work. Make sure it is balanced and change the motor strength to high.

Hi Brad, I have a question. Is it possible to slow down the maximum rotation speed of the Weebill lab? With my other gimbal, the Zhiyun crane v 2 it is possible to adjust the maximum speed via the app. But I couldn't find this option in the ZY play app.
If it is possible for the Weebill lab too, can you explain me how to do this?

If you mean the speed of vortex mode, you can adjust the speed with the latest firmware.

Hi! I have a question! When I plug my Sony A7iii in the Weebill Lab, the steadyshot turn off automatically. Can I use the steadyshot on, with the cable plugged on it?
It is a known issue. We are working on it and sorry at present it cannot.

Hi. Anyone tested it with a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Canon 16-35mm lens? Would that work? (those have about 1.2kg, less than that camera holds, but I'm worried about the size of the Camera on weebill. Thank you.

Hi, I cannot adjust pan/tilt manually. When the gimball is on, the motors prevent me from adjusting it manually (and no, the axis are not locked)

hey Brad. do you know how to save the control rate parameter settings in the weebill lab? so that once you have changed them in the app the stay that way even after turning the gimbal off and on again without using the app? thank you
At present, the custom settings can only be saved in the app.

Hi I bought the device today. I use it with the Sony a6000. I'm having trouble taking pictures. It focuses when I press the shutter button halfway down but it does not take the picture when I press it fully. What could be the reason?

hi. my weebill lab keeps on vibrating in some angles and today i tried vortex mode and it wasn't working and my motors strenght was hig and i am using sony a6300 with sigma 30 mm. kindly help. gimbal was stable.
Make sure the pan axis is correctly balanced.

was thinking to buy this but one thing comes to mind, don't the buttons/control pads get in the way? yes you can lock them but surely its uncomfortable as your hand would cover them so you have less grip? anyone have this issue? thanks
Thanks for telling about locking the keys, my 2nd most Complaint just resolved, 1st is we cant turn on Follow mode directly from gimbal with holding front trigger, and the 3rd is holding go button to keep ur gimbal in sports mode, this should had some option.
You can use the app to switch to different modes.
@@ZhiyunTechGlobal Of course, BUT full follow mode needs to be enabled all time not only by app or holding the trigger button (which is exhausting) but by a physical button on the gimbal!! Also I don't see support for Canon DSLR models which is stripped for no reason as it was working like a charm on my Crane 2!! Come on ZHIYUN you can do better than this!

Do you seriously have to use the external motor to control the zoom on the 18-105 motor zoom sony lens which can be controlled via the camera and usb? I thought the cranes already support zooming via usb. Why not the weebill?

Very helpful. However, without using the phone app, how do I keep it in "Follow" mode? Keeping my finger on the trigger while shooting an 8-hour wedding makes the pad of my finger go numb.
Is it possible to make compatible Weebill Lab focus control with Tilta Nucleus Nano motor?
It depends on whether you can balance the combo or not

Hi, I am using sony a6300 paired with 18-105 g lens. When I connect my phone and camera to the gimbal,I get full control except for taking pictures. I am not able to click pictures using the gimbal handle or through the phone. Now because of this, I am not able to use the timelapse option or even the trajectory motion-lapse as it cant click.

Some users will use 80D with kit lens or prime lens. You can do a search in youtube :)

I can not balance my GH4 camera with a microphone on it. why? (12-35 lens)
Try to use some counterweights because the mic will change the barycenter.

Until now nothing helped. I can not record quality sound with the gimbel.

What’s the point of there being a USB port on the Weebill Lab if you can’t use it to charge the batteries?

Please make a test video with Full frame Sony and GM zoom lens. Most people found that this is not ble to control even 3.5 lb payload (and 6.6 lb is just a fake claim)

my Canon M50 works great except the shutter buttons, balances fine even with the screen out and a wide angle lenses if anyone is interested

Many people don't know if Webill Lab works with Sony A7iii and 24-105 f4 or 16-35 2.8 GM lens. Please make a video about this, I think you're loosing lots of customers due to the bad video reviews with people not making it work.

+Robert Larsson It kinda works with the a7iii works with the 16-35 gm. I've gotten it decently balanced although you won't be able to go into flashlight mode because the eyepiece will hit the rear motor. I was able to rig some counter balance weights which allowed me to use the gimbal as intended but it just wasn't an ideal combo. I opted on getting a lighter weight lens combo for the weebill lab and the Ronin S for a more robust set up. Look into the samyang 24m af f2.8. Beast of a little lens with great autofocus for a very cheap price. Good Luck!
Where are the hacks? The only hack I see is the tool on screen.
This video, while useful, simply describes how to use the controls in the way they are intended. That is the opposite of "hacks".
Hacks are things you wouldn't find in a manual.
