Funny, people always said that Shaq carried Kobe, yet during this segment Marv Albert makes a point to note that Kobe was the 2nd leading scorer in the league averaging 29ppg, nearly 30.
Kobe locked up Reggie Miller Scottie pippin Jason Kidd , the spurs , the kings at age 21-23 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Haters/Media: Kobe got carried to his first 3 championships
They didn't even acknowledged that he was the best Laker in atleast on of those runs and had a slightly bigger role than Shaq during 2 western conference playoffs runs in which they've faced tougher teams than the teams they've met in the finals
Casuals logic brother lol, they don’t know what “team basketball” is
@@solarmo24
Kobe didn't lock them up I'd say but he played integral defense for sure
@@TheBmills415 1st team all defense 9 times
Great duel between Kobe and Reggie. RIP Black Mamba.
It's weird seeing Reggie Miller playing in Jordan XI's. He was the ultimate antagonist. Towards the end of the game, you can see him calling Kobe a bi tch after he made the go ahead 3.
This game was played the day my brother was born
2001 Kobe was a beast!
Best Kobe page ever!
🙏
Facts
@@dcshow keep up the good work!

Man he kick the hell out of me lol 1:56
@1:41 to 1:57
Lol
Nice channel, a lot of gems.
Once you tell Kobe that Jordan use to do this then you definitely gonna have his undivided attention
Except that he said Cooper used to do that.
Tim duncan Allen iverson tracy mcgrady ray allen reggie miller theres a lot of great players same as kobe and lebron but the NBA didnt made them super stars like kobe and lebron...
Superstar are not found they are made.
Cause the big stars like MJ Kobe and LeBron always beat those other guys in the end, except Duncan who was just quiet.
Kobes Forum Game back in 2009 would be cool
Watching this Kobe game I see a more complete player than Jordan at that age.
👌👌👌 another gem
This game started the kobe/reggie beef if you watched it fully.
Hi there, i could use your help with something...

@@dcshow yup lol Kerry kittles couldn't do nothing with him
I was about to say, this game sparked their fight in ‘02
Reggie was fun to watch..
100% always COMPETITIVE!
If kobe was healthy as lebron and jordan he would have the respect he needs
The media would still be slanting the narrative towards Bron.
Reggie miller top 5 greatest 2 guards ever!!!
Miller- Killer
Killer Miller vs Black mamba
This game was personal cause it was the year after pacers lost to the lakers in finals
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kobe explaining to referee Jack Nies on Reggie’s leg kick
Kobe implemented a lot of legends in his game
I want to see kobe and miller switch..Miller and Shaq as teammates..its all about shaq..

“Uugghh what’s your name? Tabak.. ok you guard Shaq “😭😭
**wins fmvp by abusing the one random on the squad now he carried Kobe”🤦🏾♂️
7:57 Classic Reggie Miller push off LOL, and I have no problem with it because they all do it.
First
Still so glad reggie never got a ring
Was this when the Lakers had problems with Kobe so Kobe missed a few games?
There was always problems but this the year Kobe and Shaq went almost undefeated in playoffs. Arguably the greatest team of all time
@@solarmo24 yeah I know that but I heard stories where Kobe sat and they started winning. So Kobe decided to be a bit more passive. I think April 1st was their last loss until game 1 of the NBA finals
@@FanaticForFanta Shaq was getting jealous of Kobe putting up numbers so he started calling him “selfish”. The coaches said kobes running the triangle offense just perfect. Shaq started the “Kobe is selfish” rumor when Kobe avg 5 assists a game in the triangle offense(hard to get assists on). Kobe led Playoffs in scoring and 4th quarter scoring 2000-2003.
Yes and No. This was the year where after Shaq won the Finals MVP first time, Kobe trained like a madman shooting 2000 times a day and getting his body in shape for the season, while Shaq took time off. There was conflict here because Kobe wanted to become the best player and prove he can be the #1 option. This caused alot of conflict because there were nights where Kobe took some bad shots and it cost them some Ws. The team was worried they were drifting away from the system that they won before and Shaq was still playing himself into shape and was upset that the offense wasn't being ran through him. Kobe missed I think 8-9 games towards the end of the regular season with Fish coming back. Kobe then understood he could still dominate and get Shaq involved which led them to nearly going undefeated in the playoffs.
@@trentonpearson7353 I remember fisher saying he almost chose to sit out the season. That’s some good insights though. I wish I was old enough to watch and learn from the shaq and Kobe era
Can we stop this. It’s not a rematch. You don’t a ring for winning a regular season game 😂 it’s a rematch if it’s in the FINALS
Boy stop crying it is a rematch
