  • In this food travel vlog, my dad, gf and I try some grilled beef breast on the streets of Hanoi, Vietnam.
This was actually all of our first times trying this street food dish, which is called: bò nầm nướng.
My dad and I also had a couple of Tiger beers to wash down our tasty meals.
We ate this dish and gave you our signature Dank Rank Food Review.
Special shout out to the staff at this restaurant too who helped us prepare the food and eat it properly, because we were pretty amateur in terms of our “BBQ beef breast” eating skills.
For any foodies looking for a night time street food dish that is special to Hanoi, definitely try out some of this grilled beef breast.
The exact address (as far as I could tell) was:
Quán Bò Nầm Nướng 19 Hàng Lược
    P. Hàng Lược, Hàng Mã, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội
(They seemed to have two addresses but this was the one I could find on Google.)
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed this food travel vlog.

I couldn’t believe you made your dad eats all these crazy food. I am glad to see you get to spend time with your dad in VN. My wife is Caucasian and when we were in VN, she refused to eat street food so we have to spend $100 a meal on western restaurants. I need to go back solo

The food looks delicious! That's the great thing about VN, it's not the decorum or ambience, it's all about the taste of the food and good company.

Here in Chiang Mai, we often have pork "breast." There is something very different about the texture, which, as you said, is both tender and chewy.

I think that's a great experience, but I was hoping you guys would look around to see how other guests were prepping theirs before cooking/eating. To me, it's similar to bo chien bo, where you wait until the cooking surface is hot, add in a lot of butter then add your meat, veggies, etc. Let it sit for a bit before turning. I knew when you picked up that eggplant it wasn't cooked and I wanted to yell at you through the screen to not eat it yet. LOL! You guys should have swept the cooked food over to one side and then add the uncooked food so you can keep the two sides separate, that way you don't contaminate the cooked food with the uncooked stuff.

@@BigTimeBentley Which is why Vietnamese people should stick to calling it beef/cow breast as the names often turn foreigners off. Think of all the things you were timid to try based on the names. Now imagine the myriad Westerners whom didn't and missed out. For example, "fish sauce" has turned many off for decades. It's just now that more are dipping their toes into it.

Brisket is different, brisket is chest meat, this is probably cow udders that got lost in translation. We Vietnamese love cow or pig udders, that’s a popular cut in Hanoi and Ho chi minh city, those meats are freaking good
