Maps were available due to international roaming service. To travel in Europe , European insurance is required. Turkey Iran border you buy carnet i.e insurance and travel documents.

W salam Yes RHD But only after half all of driving you get used to left hand drive Only UK and Pakistan are right hand Rest of the countries we passed are all left hand drive

We didn't incur any issues Planning wit family depends on age of children . No of days. vehicle you are taking and booking of hotels plus daily drive as after two days of driving 8 hours Ur back starts getting heavy and for kids it can be issue and most important factor is use and availablity of rest rooms.

You can get by train but it will tale more then a week. Once you get Russia by train then it will be very easy to go to UK.
