Wow I'm impressed to see such developed infrustracture in pakistan. I donno why people saying pakistan is poor or less developed than Bangladeah , .. But here in Bangladesh we don't have such organized access controled "motor/expressways" at all. And government just planing to construct 2000 plus km of expressways by 2041 saal. Its clear pakistan is way ahead of Bangladesh in terms of road transport infrastructure... Love from Bangladesh.

@Abhijit Sanyal brother it also because population in india ........and no doubt pakistan moterways are really really good and they are connected throughout the country and only i part is underconstruction and then the whole country will be connected whith them and load truks and bikes are not allowed on moterways for better flow of trafic they have the alternative road network of national high ways they are same as moterways but they have only 3 lanes for each and allowed any type of moter vehicles so they have dense ratio of vechicle ..
Still many overseas Pakistanis believe that infrastructural development is different from human development. It was the initiative of Nawaz Sharif who still is declared the enemy no 1 of Pakistan itself.

I spent over decade as a foreign student in Lahore.
Then travelling from Lahore to Rawalpindi or from Lahore to Multan was a nightmare.
The roads were in poor condition, poorly lit and just single lane both ways.
Accidents were frequent.
The journey took forever.
You guys are lucky to have such modern roads now.

I do prefer spend my free time in your country (for job or leisure I all the time travelled in Central Asia or Middle East) than in a stupid place where people to have fun drink a lot of alcohol or other bullshits). I have traveled between Karachi and Lahore on these motorways and National Highway many times. The motorways are part of long term transportation plans of the Pakistani government and not really dependent on the administrations of Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan. Indians will fool themselves if they believe the anti-Pakistan diatribe from their government and media. We have 647 dislikes from BJP Bhakts.

He himself said that he will rejuvenate the steel mills and will bring prosperity in the country. Agreed that nawaz was not good during his terms but the damage done by Imran has been catastrophic when compared to all terms of PmLn and ppp combined.

Unlike India, Pakistani motorways and toll plazas are very well maintained. In India, highways are mostly irritatingly crowded and in comparison, Pakistani motorways look deserted. Who will be surprised if they could cover 1300 km by road in 13 hours, still quite a feat ! Language we hear keeps reminding us our long lost brotherhood. All the Best!

Indian roads are built now by INDIAN. Let me repeat INDIAN. Road Maintenance needs money, and thus TOLL Money collected. Do you know who financed M1/M2/M3/M4/M5/M6 and up to M9??? Chinese State-owned Banks are looting Pakistan. I am not against Pakistan here, but I don't support the LOOTING of Chinese. Do you think Pakistan Engineers can't build such a Motorway? UET Lahore has every Capability to Architect such Road Marvels. Give them a chance, they will show What Road Tech is?
@@raghuaddanki678 first motor way was built with the help of Koreans after that FWO n NHA is the major contractor of most of the motor ways built these roads are built using local labor n materials n built in a way that to with stand heavy traffic so less amount is spend on the maintenance n are built on BOT bases

Motorways numbered M
Expressways numbered E.
No my dear. Those roads do not qualify for expresways or freeways. Have been there.
Let me give you a small example.
You will not find any U-turn in this Pak motorway even if it is 375 km (lahore to Islamabad). It js restricted road. There are no such in India.
