  • A summary of the three most adventurous weeks in our lives so far.
    Altough the slightly unstable security situation was shadowing the whole experience a bit, we really enjoyed our time there!
    Some of the very best people we met on the entire 232 days of our trip, were from Pakistan! Thanks to all of them for making it a really unforgettable experience, especially our friends in Lahore deserve all the gratitude we can give them!

    Honestly - my parents come from Pakistan and own a house in Lahore. I dont speak the language, or don't do the country any favours. So far I have visited 45+ countries in my life, and I have to say Pakistan is one of my favourites. I have so far never had a bad experience there. I totally recommend Lahore, and I have cycled to kashmir on the karakoram highway. One of the best feelings you can experience - is that this is a populated country, but there are almost no tourists. The sights and scenes you see are like gold no one has discovered. Highly highly recommend :-)

    People of Pakistan are with the best of their thoughts and hearts towards humanity. It was really a wonderful experience meeting people from Pakistan on one of our projects and it was an unforgettable experience to know about their kind heart and the goodness they possess. Its such a shame that the governments have used their own people to be used against other countries specially the neighbouring Countries like India, Afghanistan etc. With proudness on my heart, I still say that Pakistan is a great country with the best of the people, nature and culture. Hope Pakistan and other countries build a healthy relationship in the benefit on the humanity, which is at stake currently due to the cold war between them. Peace :)

Pakistani overtaking style is actually an attempted suicide style. but people survive 95% of all the time. which is amazing. now people are getting sense and they are not doing this shit in Cities anymore only in rural areas and outside the city. thats why you see lots of truck accidents. most of the drivers are illiterate thats why they drive trucks. and usually are on weed and marijuana.

    • @Pizzastan
      @Pizzastan Před 7 lety +41

      Harsh Singh It is safe to go for a bike road trip. Except a few places like FATA, but then that’s just about 5% of Pakistan.
      You will have no problem from people of Pakistan, rather they will be very hospitable.
      You do have a few problems though.
      Firstly, It’s not easy for an Indian to get Pakistan visa. If you know someone in Pakistan, then I suggest ask them to send you a sponsor. Basically they will guarantee of your genuineness and responsibility.
      Secondly, even if you are granted visa. You might be given visa for a specific city. So, that’s not good for a road trip. You might think once you’ve been given visa to a particular city, who is going to follow you? How could they know if you’re leaving the city? What happens is in cases like that, they will give you visa, but on the condition that you will have to appear at that city’s police station and sign, in other words you must present yourself in that city court or police station everyday or every 2 days, depending upon what condition they set.
      Thirdly, even if you get visa for beyond one city, I’m pretty sure you will get restricted visa. For instance I highly doubt you will be granted visa for Azad Kashmir or Gilgit Baltistan, which is disappointing because that the best and safest place for a road trip. Specially now with new Karakoram Highway between Pakistan and China.
      If you do apply for a visa, I must suggest always be truthful. You will not get problems from people but due to security reasons, we do get stopped by police alot in Pakistan. So you will also be stopped, if you get stopped, you must tell the truth. Do not try to be a hero. Keep all the necessary documents (ID card, Visa, Passport, etc) with you. That way, even if they become suspicious, they will check your background (basis of your visa, sponsor, conditions, restrictions and other references), if you have told the truth, that will remove their suspicion.
      What I have said above might scare you alittle but trust me, once you're in Pakistan you will not be scared, You will go back to India as a changed man!
      Good Luck!

    Pakistan, its culture, its topography & its living standard are so so so diff. It depends on which region you are in
    You can find Snow Covered Mountains, Arable Plains, Scorching Desert & a mixture of all that
    Pakustans beauty is its diversity❤
