Hey, thanks for the heads up about using a tie-down strap while traveling with the plow! Never even considered the wear on the winch this would cause from the plow bouncing. I recently got a KFI plow installed and was about to drive the canam to town over a long gravel road when I saw this video.

Good call on keeping an extra strap handy to lift the blade with if the winch cable breaks. I hadn’t considered something like that, even as simple as that is. Thanks! God bless.

KFI makes a roller to replace the fairlead. I put one on mine, works great and is a must for synthetic ropes

The wear bar is 3/16" Grade 50 steel. It is powder coated which gives it the "plastic" finish. After the one side wears down over time, you are able to flip the wear bar over for a basically brand new wear bar. Hope this helps, Happy plowing!

I've used the plow a few times, and overall I'm pleased with it. I plow over uneven terrain and it does pretty well. I wish it was a bit heavier for back blading. Im considering adding weights to the plow... any thoughts on this? Good or bad idea? Its my first sxs plow so Im new to this.
