Okay, I'm really digging that they took notes from "E is For Extinction" and "Hellfire Gala" for this episode. It really shows that the producers aren't just fans of Claremont's X-Men work. They're fans of X-Men comic books in general.
That isn't a great thing considering how terrible the Krakoa era is(both writing wise and sales wise).
Let's hope they adapt anything but that.

@@rachetmarvel931sale wise they’re doing fine as for writing wise it’s literally written by award winning writers. Slandering the Krakoa era is ridiculous when you guy forgot what came before with multiple genocide, inhuman takeover, and the whole cyclops is evil narrative they push it before.
This people complaining about Grant Morrison era of x-men when before they had to deal with the post Claremont writing and late 90s story nonsense

The girl with the braids who danced with Exodus is Cipher from Academy X! Stating in Young X-Men #9 (2008).She was the sort of hidden member that helped the team silently for behind the scenes. Powers are intangibility, levitation, invisibility, and unable to be detected by psychics! Phoenix even had a hard time finding her psy signature.

God, and the worst part in all this, half of these characters are probably dead with Kurt being the only confirmed survivor.
This was basically Infinity War but with X-Men
We saw Calisto die for sure like her pupil dialted which hurt.
Pixie I think is a confirmed survivor at the end. Unsurprising that teleporters faired better than anybody else.
I also think Nightcrawler might be joining the X-men. The roster has gotten THIN.

Ape - shapeshifter
Tommy - can turn her body 2 dimensional
Leech - can negate other mutant's powers
Leech can WHAT. I always thought he was an old man. It wasn't until the christmas episode i found out that the old man was a boy 😭

@@cabri4540 ... same haircut. 😄 Would've been interesting if Legion was there though. I know in comics, he easily took down a bunch of Nimrod level sentinels all by himself. Only problem is he's so batsh*t crazy he might destroy Genosha himself.

My best friend and I have known each other since kindergarten. His mom ended up being a huge fan of X-Men '92, especially Rogue. When he got his action figures, she bought a Rogue figure for *herself*. He told me yesterday that this episode made her cry. :(

@@nilesstark Nah, Cable is being voiced by Chris Potter in this one, Gambit's old VA in the original TAS run.
If Pixie does speak, I really hope she's still Welsh, a lot of adaptations of her forget that and give her an American accent, and one of my favourite things about her is that she's from the same country as me, it just reminds me of one of the reasons why I love X-Men, there's a mutant in every nationality, she wouldn't won't speak, but then at least I can pretend she'd have the accent 😂anyway this episode was phenomenal.

I was so excited to see Pixie show up but she shouldn't have teleporting powers. That's not one of her mutant abilities. Its a spell she learned from Magik after she sacrificed a portion of her soul to create a soulsword to defeat Belasco

at 0:14 you forgot tattoo and radian. Tattoo is the girl with the red markings that fell in the water and radian is her brother wearing a white tee with cornrows on the very right.
Also when Rouge is standing up ahead watching the performance of Dazzler and the others whilst Gambit is talking to Nightcrawler there’s a blonde woman with glasses and a red ribbon in her hair standing next to her. This is Tabitha Smith a.k.a Boom Boom.
Everyone misses Robert Iceman Drake's unusually small cameo between 03:54-04:05 of the 5th episode... when NightCrawler ports them to the market area.

I really hope my boy Archangel isn't dead he's an OG member of the X-Men and this show barely focuses on him the only time they show him is when there's an episode that's centered around Apocalypse.

@@JamaicanFlava Oh Sorry. I never actually any comics that has Cipher appear. I'm only familiar with Shadow Cat because of the cartoons and movies. But I do hope that Shadow Cat will make her debut in Season 2 of X-Men 97.
@@samflood5631 No worries. Yeah Cipher's first visual appearance I believe was in 2008 in Young X-Men #8 in but she apparently was in the background, invisibly, earlier than that. Cipher is almost like a mutant version of a spirit.
1. She can become intangible, like Kitty, but when she passes through people she shocks them. Also, in this state she can float or fly.
2. She can become invisible to the point where even psychics like Emma can't read her.
3. She can become fully inaudible or only audible to people she wants to.

Where is kitty pride and clossous? Why aren’t they on the team?
In the original plans for the 90s series they were supposed to be part of the main team line up until Marvel executives back then told the show's crew to change them for Rogue and this new recently created character in the comics named Gambit.
In Kitty's case they linked her to the failure of the Pryde of the X-Men pilot, in Colossus' case... nothing, but still appeared as an episodic character.
