Both Jap and Eng VA's of Senshi and Chilchuk really brought their A game for this episode. I greatly enjoyed hearing the different versions of Senshi in both languages, and I'm especially impressed by how deep Casey went for tall-man Chilchuck

The Dungeon Meshi characters are based on 5 elements Feng Shui. so, for the races exchange the author also using the feng shui pentagram pattern too, that is the ATTACK ( ->>) lines, except Izutsumi. But because of Izutsumi, for Marcille to change the author used the GIVES line (=>). Laios - Water Marcille - Wood Chilchuk - Fire Senshi - Earth Izutsumi - Steel wood ->> earth earth ->> water water ->> fire wood => fire

The dub for this anime is honestly pretty good and has it's own unique funny moments (Mushroom foot sniffer... 🤣), but I still think the Japanese dub w/ subs edges it out as the better one **overall**, but I will say I definitely wouldn't mind watching this anime in English dub.

Fun fact about elf-Senshi Throughout the adventure, he subconsciously had his biases reflected on how he treats Marcille for being an Elf. And even though he was still the same as an elf after the changelings, people around him treated him differently cause he acted more elf-like. After realising what he has done to Marcille and how bad it must have felt, he wrote.. “never again”

Seeing chilchuck go and CHUCK marcille is such a small moment but it’s my favorite from the episode. Like. First of all how often has chilchuck wanted to do that, second of all did he ever do similar with his daughters, and third of all- how many times has this specifically happened to him, because you just know there’s been times where there was a big pit and the best solution was to just be picked up and thrown across.
