This is an issue that's very important to me, and I'm glad to see all the amazing videos supporting organizations that are working to end unfair labor practices. But this video specifically mentioned something that seems to have been overlooked a lot, which is the role of developed countries in perpetuating this problem.

It's true that sweatshops are often the only source of income in developing countries, which is part of the reason they continue to exist. But it seems to me that without a strong campaign against unfair labor practices, within governments and through the "free" market, this problem will continue virtually unaffected by the good done by these organizations to help small groups of people escape the unfair choice between slave labor and the kindness of charities.
