This was by far the best P4A video Ive seen yet. The Human Society is one of the best, yet underrated, animal shelters there are. There are millions of animals that are abused and neglected that come into the Humane Society and live to see a new life. I wish people would just go more to shelters to adopt dogs. If you can't afford to take care of an animal, you don't deserve one.
i adopted all my pets from the streets because in my country animal shelters are very rare...i love animals so much that's why i keep taking them into my home and they are part of my family....
My family has adopted from shelters many times. I remember growing up, I went with my mom to get one of our cats, later after I moved she adopted a dog. I also remember, when we got our ferret, we went to the humane society to learn how to take care of him. My aunt and little cousins adopted a dog from the same shelter.
I definitely teared up there...and I don't cry, like ever. I used to volunteer at a humane society...it was a lot of fun, and I definitely recommend it to anyone else!

i was fighting back tears throughout the whole thing but i started crying when they brought in the rotty and said "what would you do to save a life?" this is a great cause. i miss volunteering at my local humane society and this video makes me wanna go back. DFTBA!

Best Charity out there, also the SPCA is good one. I was a volunteer at my local shelter. It's very sad, but then again I loved seeing the animals getting adopted. I even got my my 70 year old grandma to adopt two cats :)

thanks for chosing this charity, this is one that's close to my heart too for the very reason that was stated in this video, while it's equally sad that people need help too most of them can do something to completely change things for themselves, these animals can't they didn't ask to be domesticated, and they can't do anything to help themselves but education, population control efforts and adopting out the ones that are in shelters rather than encouraging breeders helps enormously. bravo man!

This was tough to watch. My family's dog is a rescued stray, and he's the BEST dog ever. I've been looking for another dog to add to the family, but I haven't found the right one yet. Part of me would love to call a breeder and get a goldendoodle, but I know that's not the right choice. The shelters are full of good dogs who need good homes.

Awesome video, the Philantropy for my sorority is the Humane Society ;-) we recently had an adoption fair and family day at our school. Im glad we took part in finding homes for the abused animals.
#p4a Such an inspirational video. A few weeks ago a black cat came to my back door. She staved and homeless. Since then we have temporarily adopted him. Unfortunately, I already have a female cat and they don't get along well so I can't adopt him long term. But I will definitely be taking him to a Humane Society when he's a little healthier.
Rescue animals are the best. Three rescued dogs are currently living with me and they are part of my family!

When that woman almost cried---I cried! The one thing that I've always been able to connect with is, ....animals.
