This should happen more than once a year! What a great way to bring attention to charities! I had never heard of this one before.
I'm glad to see those people were just wasting their clean water at the end...how resourceful.
It's amazing how easy us 1st world countries like England, Canada, United States, etc. have it. We get clean water and good food, and we get more and more greedy everyday, we keep wanting more. Seeing all these people in need and the state of life they live in, I just want to make a difference. Thank you @ijustine for showing us and influencing us CZcamsrs to make a difference. :)
my sister is in this group at school that helps this! they all donated an amount of money, and one dollar equaled one brick, and her school donated enough money to make 4 wells, so people could have safe drinking water!!!
Awww that is soooo nice of you!!!! at the end the kids look soo happy drinking the clean water and it just puts a smile on my face

Good choice, access to clean water is a huge problem in developing countries, and water security is a growing problem the world over. Forget what the media say is the biggest threats like terrorism and such.
Justine this is fantastic. We all really have to do something to help the rest of the planet. Look people you have no idea how we take for granted everything we have in North America. This is not the norm for most of the world.

I got this certain water bottle for Christmas and on the bottom it said someone purchased this so that someone else could have clean water. That made feel good about myself.

This is an amazing charity. As they all are and I feel like through this I can actually help because if not for this project I wouldn't be able to do anything since I have no money.

@DamnReckless It's not. You can see for yourself around 1:10 And also, it's not like it needs to get better, she just doesn't understand how AWESOME it looks and is waiting for it to stop doing that. It doesn't hurt or mess up your vision or anything, there's just blood chillin' in there.

I can't believe that there are so many comments here saying that people in Africa are just trying to live on wealthy countries' support, and that they should even feel guilty for their existence. Have you ever studied imperialism? You do realize that the miserable situation of many African countries results from the economic dependency that wealthy countries have systematically created since the 19th century. Africa's poverty is our fault! And it is our social duty to help them!
So I went downstairs to see that our kitchen faucet was running and my mom was on the opposite side of the kitchen, cleaning out a cabinent. So, I went over and turned the faucet off and said " Theres tons of people in the world who don't even have water and your just wasting it." she said, " Thats ridiculus, everyone has water." I said, "Sure, but not clean water, millions of ppl die from drinking bad water."
And I never would've turned the faucet off if I didnt see this video. DFTA.

I think that a lot of people should go and build a well for those people in need for clean water.
There's more people than you think that don't get clean water...and like it says more people are killed from that than WAR!
I think it is sad that so many people have to drink that really dirty water.
I support all of this! How many wells are built? Uhm like probably like one or two, come on people! A lot of people need clean water.

i love how the parents of these starving kids have more kids knowing they going to starve.
@RuskiDrinkOnStoli if you just dig a hole, the water will just soak into the soil. A well needs to be deep, it would take weeks for them to do it. and if there are things like tree roots and large rocks in the way, how would they get through that. just think before you type.
I hope the well is built soon.

OMG i feel so bad for those people they have to drink dirty water and imagine the food :( oh poor people i hope they at least have one well
at first I was wondering why you were at the side, but then I was like, 'oh, eye.' :P I think this is a great project:)
All of the money that the video makes is being donated to the well.. That shows someone that cares.

@camocool00 i think its because she has that popped blood vessel in her right eye and when she makes eye contact with the camera standing sideways, its almost impossible to see it. thats what i'm guessing..

i personally use free rice because you can donate with no money! you answer questions to give rice. this website is amazing? its my new homepage so before going to youtube or facebook or something, i donate rice to hungry people first!
1 correct answer= 10 grains
10 correct answers= 100 grains

1000 correct answers= 10000 grains, etc., etc.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a life time.... not to mention that it is cheaper.
Also you give one village clean water pump and people will drink it, as soon as that water supply is gone they go back to the dirty water wells and get even more sick because they lack the resistance to bad water.
I just think there are better alternatives.
