- Pro-Palestine protests spread to the University of Texas at Austin with hundreds of police in full riot gear confronting students who walked out of classes. Meanwhile, some tents from the pro-Palestine encampment engulfing the Columbia University campus were removed. The drama followed a tense stand-off between demonstrators and police. The students agreed to scale the encampment back. However, some of the tents that were removed were back in place.
Actually a lot of the protesters don't even go to this school.
They pay for classes so skipping them is a waste

I think it's a little premature to say, "doing this does nothing". The Bonus Army was evicted from Washington DC on 28 July 1932. The original GI Bill of Rights was singed into law on 22 June 1944 by FDR. I count almost twelve full years between those two dates. There is no doubt that the original GI Bill of Rights was a direct result of the Bonus Army.
