    the small clips are called “alice” clips I think it stands for (all-purpose lightweight individual carry equipment)... the us army phased them out in early 2000’s so theyre kinda hard to find. If yours wear out, consider getting some short plastic “malice” clips. Theyre designed for the molle/pals straps and should come in handy and be used the same way you are currently setup.

If ever an accident happen to me and I need a transfusion or anything like that, others will know what my blood type is. Keep up the good work, you're great.

    I don't know what situation is in the Netherlands but I would add tick remover in the kit if You are spending much time in parks.
    It's easier to remove with a dedicated tool than with a pair of tweezers IMO and I removed them a lot.
    BTW great videos, I recently found out about Your channel and love it! Keep up the good work!

    • @DutchBushcraftKnives
      @DutchBushcraftKnives  Před 7 lety

      good suggestion! I have a tick every week in summer. I'm always quick to remove them though.

    • @PotHat
      @PotHat Před 7 lety +1

      Dutch Bushcraft Knives, it might sound a bit ridiculous, but perhaps you can make a video about how you deal with ticks.
      One of my friends recently got Lymes disease and it almost spooks me not to go out in the summer. With the right knowledge we could go outside.

    • @ColmajsterX
      @ColmajsterX Před 7 lety

      @TopHat If a infected tick bites in it's already over, best bet is to use repellent to prevent tick (and mosquito) bites.
      Tick removal is quite easy, if You have tweezers or some tool for that. You just have to be gentle to avoid breaking the tick while it's latched on. I found it to be easiest to remove with a small prybar-like tool designed for tick removal rather than other spring loaded tweezers. I can send You a link if You're interested.

    • @PotHat
      @PotHat Před 7 lety

      Oh dear, that is reassuring :p
      Well it's good to know in any case. Sure, I'm interested in seeing what you're talking about.

    • @ColmajsterX
      @ColmajsterX Před 7 lety +2

      @TopHat Well it's not so bad, You just have to remove the tick as soon as possible. But why risk it?
      The tool is called tick twister, should be first link on Google, they have a pretty good page with demonstrations. I highly recommend this tool!
